We live to the east, in McHenry County, from Boone County Conservation District(BCCD). My Husband does geocaching and wanders over to BCCD properties from time to time. BCCD has a series of geocaches that when completed, yields a reward. He finished the series so we went to the BCCD visitor's center to show proof and collect his reward. We had a very nice conversation with the visitor center person. It'll be a great while before we come back here as it is a distance from our home base. It looks like a great area to picnic, hike, and bike ride.
