This is a GREAT service offered by Bond County! If you need a ride around town, you can call them and tell them where you want to go and what time you need to be picked up and they will send the first available bus to pick you up. The cost is $2.00 one way, but if you regularly use it, they have passes you can purchase that are cheaper. I believe they also offer rides outside of the county, but I'm not sure what they charge for that.
The busses are clean and equipped to carry passengers with disabilities. The drivers are friendly. And I've never waited more than 15 minutes to be picked up. The only drawback is that they only run Monday thru Friday from 8 to 4. So if you need a ride on holidays or the weekend, you'd have to find something else.
