Melissa Salvato of Blue Ribbon Travel in Stony Brook, NY did an amazing job booking our Italy trip. We showed up unannounced, with two or three ideas in mind. Melissa took the time to help us focus on the destination, figure out the type of tour (group size, pace of itinerary) and even made helpful suggestions about considering adding some time before and/or after the official tour to experience our destination on our own. She set it all up—tour company, air flights, extended hotel stays and the car service between home and airport. Then, when we had any questions before the trip, Melissa was very quick to get back to us by phone—which is really reassuring to be in real time contact. Our vacation was A+ and so is Melissa!

This is a long overdue thank you for the amazing experience we had with Andrea from Blue Ribbon Travel . She provided us with the best experience in planning a very special birthday celebration to St. Lucia! We didn’t know where to begin and she took the time to understand our needs and wants and because she is so knowledgeable, experienced, and well traveled she was able to recommend a one of a kind destination and was so helpful getting us the best price on the resort and airfare. Everything we could have needed to know and plan, Andrea helped us navigate. She also let us know about different excursions that we might enjoy, which we did, and helped us arrange them as well. We hadn’t traveled for a while (because of COVID) so we had a lot of questions and I might even call us a bit annoying at times. Andrea was patient and answered all of our questions and concerns in an efficient and timely manner. Additionally, once we checked into the resort, she personally called us to see if we were happy with the location and our room. I can say that I have high standards when it comes to customer service, which unfortunately is not often met these days, but Andrea not only met but exceeded my expectations!!!
