A peaceful stop on the main road with a few places to sit and a lot of shade. More rustic portion of the aborateum with multiple paths through the woods with woodchip covered trails.

可沿著Big Rock Visitor Station 左側林間步道深入森林前去觀賞Big Rock。
也不知是否正值蚊子繁殖、生長及肆虐的季節，進入小徑未幾，就被成群蚊子沿路一直叮咬，雖然有裝備防範卻仍嫌不足。終於看到那小小的 Big Rock 之後，又很有點受騙感，然後簡直就是落荒而逃似的逃離這片森林。逃到入口正巧遇到一位父親帶著三位小女孩，準備進去健行，聽了我們的意見與看了我們被叮咬情形，就放棄去帶孩子們看Big Rock。
在植物園內健行、漫步及野餐6、7小時，只有此處被叮咬，不知這片林區是否是蚊子養殖場 XD
