I scheduled two ATV trips with Bear Rock Adventures this fall (Around Foliage season). It was my first dealing with "Bear Rock", hands down these people most professional operation I have ever dealt with in Pittsburg NH.

No doubt, riding can be dangerous, but it is also a beautiful way to see the outstanding scenery in the Great Northern Woods. These people put safety first, answering all my questions as well as methodically going over the operation of the ATV, and then answering questions about the operation that I did not understand. The equipment was amazing, hands down, I have never dealt with such professional people as those working at Bear Rock Adventures from renting the machine to explaining safety and the operation of the ATV.

Will be telling everyone about what an amazing weekend we had at Bear Rock!! My husband and I stayed in one of the tents for our first anniversary weekend and they had a bottle of champagne and decorations waiting for us!! The views were absolutely breathtaking, everything was clean and set up perfectly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had never been in a side by side before and it was some of the most fun I’ve ever had! (That and watching our pup frolic through the camp!) We were sad to leave and already can’t wait to come back!!

My group rented the “base camp” cabin and 4 sleds, what an amazing time! The sleds were almost brand new, and the team was great about safety and precautions. Every renter got an emergency transponder to contact the company, or actual emergency services. The “cabin” was soo nice, brand new everything, full kitchen, helmet racks, nice couches and beds etc. we brought our own boot dryer and everything was great. We will be back

I had a great experience renting a snowmobile from Bear Rock—the process was smooth, and the machine was in great condition. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I had no issues while out riding.

However, I was really disappointed with what happened afterward. When I returned the snowmobile, an employee inspected it on their own, and we both signed off that there was no damage. I even confirmed with the employee that nothing was found during the inspection. Then, the next day, I got a call saying there was damage and that I had to pay for it. I found this really suspect—who knows if something happened after I turned it in? If they missed the damage during their own inspection, that’s on them too. At the very least, they could have offered to split the cost instead of putting it all on me.

Overall, the riding experience was great, but this situation left a bad taste in my mouth. I’d recommend taking detailed photos before and after your rental to protect yourself. I’m unsure if I would rent with them again.

Bear Rock Adventures is an amazing company with wonderful staff.

Pittsburg is a welcoming community to ATV, Snowmobiles, hikers, campers, etc.

Everyone around that area waves to you. You can ride your ATV right in to restaurants and gas stations and your welcomed.

The lodge is nice. The environment is quiet. There are lakes for fishing and boating as well.

We highly recommend Bear Rock Adventures and Pittsburg for your NH getaways.

We will go back. 😊

Great views, ATV access, cozy and warm!!! The beds were really comfortable, and the shower was amazing!! Dry wood, starters and charcoal were in tent accessible for purchase.
Management was Wonderful and friendly. I rebooked upon check out!!

Big shout out to Bear Rock Adventures! We booked a week at ‘The Cabin’ during snowmobile season and had the best time! A true winter wonderland. The trails are super close, the cabin is warm and very comfortable. It was our intention to explore the area and local towns… didn’t happen, we spent our time on the trails, going for walks or just hanging out in the cabin! We will definitely be back. Thanks Bear Rock!
