My son and I were on a long drive to visit family we checked in late and my son was very much looking forward to some pool time when we finally stop. Pool hours would normally be closed but the desk lady was so kind to let my son have a little bit of pool time before heading to bed. The pool room was cozy! I got some relax time in the spa while my son played in the pool. I’d for sure stay again with that kind of service! Thank you so much for your kindness! This helped make keepsake memories on our long trip.

Great remodeled room, comfy beds and clean bedding. The pool was nice and heated and hot tub was amazing after a day of driving. Breakfast is great for pre-made items, burritos, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurts, etc.. They had many options for our son with a dairy allergy. We will stay again for sure.

The staff is amazing every time we come here. The manager at night was actually glad to see us back. We went to other hotels in Redding and red bluff to explore and we came running back to the Baymont. As long as you’re polite and courteous to the staff they will take great care of you. And now they have their breakfast back the kids are way happier.

The staff was very friendly when we checked in, everywhere in the hotel was very clean and nicely organized, the location was great as far as easy access and not far from anything that we wanted to go out and see. See. I thought the price was fantastic and everything worked properly in the kitchen was nicely supplied. They even had an indoor pool and that was also very clean and many others at the hotel enjoyed it! I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Baymont!

Made reservations and arrived at the wrong hotel. (Holiday Inn Express). Yreka. Notified by their blond desk receptionist at that hotel that I had no reservation there and she displayed no interest in trying to help me figure out what went wrong. I was giving her information about my reservation, the quoted price etc with the hope that it was just a computer mistake when I volunteered to move away from her counter so as to not hold up other guests. Her response was a clipped "thank you" while rudely stating "we haven't had rooms for $108 in years" shaking her head in disbelief as I moved away. I then called Baymont and realized my mistake. I arrived stressed out and their receptionist and housekeeping recognized that and treated me very kindly. Sincere thank yous to the Baymont staff. I spent the rest of my evening in their pool relaxing and even used their exercise room.

The front desk goofed on our reservations and almost kicked us out of our room while we were out because the room was under my husband one night and me the other (same last name).
The staff don't wear uniforms and appear unprofessional.
The renovation has been happened for over a year and the lack of a professional looking lobby is really a shame.
The front door doesn't stay open to bring in your luggage (no wheelchair button).

Final thoughts: good place to sleep but don't expect much other than that.

Positive: The best thing was the staff moving us to a better room. Negative: The room we were first put into had a bed that broke as soon as we laid down, it was uncomfortable, the furniture and tv were placed in odd places, the fridge didn't work properly, and the bath had 7 handicap bars. We expected a nice suite.

The pool and hot tube was great and I did like the pillows they were better then most Motels/Hotels. My grand babies enjoyed the pool and they slept, so peacefully, the check-in process was simple and pleasant.||Great customer service thank you, Baymot and the staff.
