We had the most amazing time flying with Austin Air Cruisers, and I can't say enough great things about our pilot, Chris. From start to finish, the scenic flight around Austin was an absolute blast — smooth, breathtaking views, and a super welcoming vibe.

As a student pilot, Chris went above and beyond by letting me work the comms. I got to call clearance delivery, ground, and tower, which was such an awesome learning opportunity and honestly made the flight even more exciting for me personally.

And then, to top it all off — the big surprise: I proposed to my girlfriend mid-flight… and she said YES! It was the most perfect moment, made even more unforgettable by the beautiful views and the support from Chris who was 100% in on the plan.

Awesome experience with Pedro! We learned about the history of the plane before we took off and he made us feel completely comfortable by setting expectations for the flight. My wife and I took the lake cruiser air tour with Pedro. His calm and friendly demeanor immediately put any reservations we had at ease. He was such an excellent pilot that he made flying look deceptively simple.
Pedro was very informative, from telling us the history and restoration of the plane, to describing the landmarks we passed as we flew over Austin.

It was inspiring to learn how Pedro and Chris took up the interest in restoring the Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser to its original state, with some added upgrades, so that people could experience a little of what it must've been like back in the late 1940's, getting into one of these planes for the first time.

It was a very peaceful and different way to see Austin, too. We are very thankful for the flight experience and for Pedro, and would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a unique and memorable time.

Absolutely love this idea of an aerial tour of Austin! Beautiful clear blue skies and a yellow Piper cruiser. Our host and pilot Chis was a through professional pilot and was very happy share his passion and enthusiasm for flying. Will definitely do this again.
