My mother in law is a resident at Astoria. I have been very impressed with the staff and level of care she has been receiving there. Based on my experiences with several facilities in the Bay Area, this is by far the best Senior care facility I have ever dealt with. They offer daily activities, have regular entertainment and outings. They also are linked to the Lifeloop app, so you can track your loved ones engagement and see photos of them in action. If I ever need assisted living in the future, I hope I can get a room in this wonderful and caring facility!

I just wanna share that working with Astoria Staff has been absolutely an amazing experience,
Maryanne, Jackie, Margarita, Alexis, Isabel and Marisol and everyone in this building has made many families happy and comfortable to know that they are like family to our loved ones we have at this facility .

Our mom has been a resident in memory care at Astoria since July of this year. We have been quite pleased overall. The staff is so caring and helpful - they have been there to help mom every step of the way. They have also helped us navigate our way through home health and hospice. It was a very difficult decision to place mom in memory care, however I would definitely recommend Astoria.
Update: Mom went to be with the Lord last week. I was able to stay and not leave her side for the last 8 days. The care staff at Astoria took such wonderful care of me and mom - treated us like family with such love and compassion. Thank you Astoria family.

Astoria gave us peace of mind while my mother in law was a resident there for three years. The staff is very accommodating and take very good care of the residents. I highly recommend this facility. It is clean and they have lots of activities for the residents and their families.

What beautiful and bright place to leave your loved one. Boy, I was new to this and hadn't been in a senior living home since my grandmother in the 1970's. This place is wonderful compared to the ones existing in her town up north. Ok, sure there are little kinks you have to get out while your family, loved one living there and the staff have to iron out but mostly I am so happy that our friend suggested that we check out the place. Her husband was just placed there and then I decided that this was "the place" for my father. It is never easy for them who can't live by themself or with you anymore so it is an adjustment placing them with strangers but meds are delivered on time, the place is understaffed and you understand when you work in big corporations that place stress on the rest of the staff to work harder so they make more profit. It is organized and every staff member is polite, sweet and responsible. My dad complains the dinner meal isn't tasty enough but they don't have all their taste buds anymore. Also, very smart that each person there has their own room. Very Important to have privacy even if the rooms are a little small. Thank you for being good and responsive most of the time as the staff are very busy. I hope if I live that long I will live in a place like this. St. Moritz is not my current last name but I am Kathy. Thanks again staff. Your hard work is very appreciated.

Just found out that the "nurse" aka Director Leticia of this facility lied about COVID in their building as well as to the staff and folks living their! Check California's RCFE license look up for more details. This place disgusts me! We moved our mom out ASAP. Upon moving her out her belongs were dirty and smelted horrible! Please use caution and do your research on this corporation before placing your mom or dad!
