Salam Tawseef and Aqra Travel team,

Alhamdulillah, we have returned from our umrah trip yesterday. It was a very blessed and wonderful visit. Thank you very much for all your facilitation and arrangements. Everything went smoothly, from airline to hotel to transportation. All were timely and punctual. Everyone was very cordial. We even got upgraded at the Fairmont Makkah Clock Tower to a Kaaba view suite. All in all, a memorable trip. Grateful to you for accommodating all our special requests May Allah bless you and your family.

Look forward to my family’s and relatives’ future umrah/hajj trips with you and your company. Until next time iA … Stay blessed ?

With gratitude,
Dr. Irfan Iqbal, NY

What happened Aqra travel, I travelled with you guys in October 2023 and loved it. What happened in ramadan 2024. You guys just dumped us in hotels with no help at all. The hotel was so far, the money I took with me mostly spent on taxis. I know it was low budget trip but $4000 was not small amount of money. You could have found better accommodation for us. Beside all the issues Alhumdullilah this was the best trip of my life. I enjoyed the eebadah in last 10 nights of Ramadan in masjid Al haram. All the Ziyārahs did it myself.

I just came back from the Ramadan trip. While I am blessed with the opportunity of being there for the last 13 days of Ramadan,am not happy with the way the Aqra travel treated us and the service they provided.

They never mentioned about this trip will be on the economy side. They just informed us in Mecca after we complained about the service.

Actually you are there on your own, luxury buses and staff available 24/7/are just jokes. They just transferred us from Medina airport to the hotel, then from Medina to Mecca and then from Mecca to Jedda airport, otherwise you won’t see them. Although there was a chance to chat on the what’s app group, however if you complain, then they put restrictions and only admins can messages, means you have noway to talk to them.

Medina hotel was very unorganized, some of us needed to wait couple of hours, eventually we had to go to other hotels,as this one was fully booked( The room should be available a day before of our arrival). Just imagine in early hours of the morning, after a long international flight, you got stuck a long time in a very small lobby, then you need to take your luggage on your own and go to other hotel by walk, very disappointed and stressful process. However; The Medina stay was only 2 days(,they advertised 3 days).

On the day from Medina to Mecca, instead of taking the express train, they took the so called luxury bus , which took us a long time ,then needed to wait for iftar ,and we just left hotel to perform Umra around 7:30 pm, came back after midnight, which was another mismanagement.( I need to mention, the person who guided us to umrah, wasn’t very familiar performing umrah.)

They advertised both hotels 5 stars by name or similar. What we got were economy hotels ; below the international standards. No daily lectures were available ( actually nothing at all provided). They even didn’t provide us a tour for significant sites in Mecca like Jabal el noor ,etc.

Hotel in Mecca was far from haram, the shuttle bus was not available all the time, we needed to take taxis, which they charged us more.

On our way back home, they changed our agreed time for travel. Our flight was 7:50 pm,however they forced us ( in an unfriendly way) to be in the lobby at 11:30am,we just missed our dhuhr pray in Mecca and ended up waiting 2 hours before reaching Jedda airport area ( to dispatch group travelers to the airport ), so there wasn’t any point of leaving Mecca earlier as you can not be in the airport well ahead of your flight. In reality they only gave us stress and disrespect.

Considering all the above mentioned issues, made it impossible for me ( and many others ) to recommend Aqra travel to the potential pilgrimages. I ended up complaining to the Allah and Prophet Mohammad, in the holy month of Ramadan against the people who treated us so bad and unprofessional,as I do believe Allah is so quick at reckoning .( إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ)

Sent my in laws for umrah with Aqra and they could not stop recommending them. They have been through numerous groups before so that says a lot. They specifically loved how much care and attention the team on the ground gave. Overall they are also very reasonable in pricing.

They have ruin my Umrah. even though My dad registered and paid deposit about 2 months before the umrah time (Nov.23) they missed up big time and cancel our Trip. They email us one week before departure date and said, the system made mistake and change our reservation from November to December. There offer was take December Umrah or we will refund your money. We could not change our arrangement. We took our money back. It was very big disappointment.
By the way Tawseef Siddiquie is one of the owners of this business and he award himself stars.

I’ve noticed the majority of the positive reviews on here are fake and there is a significant amount of unsatisfied customers complaining about the lack of organization and poor experiences.

This will be my first umrah trip and I reached out via phone and e-mail on January 16th to get a hold of a representative to answer some questions. I was connected with Zaheer Ahmed and inquired about available seats for their March 10 - 20 dates and advised I would be making a deposit by the end of the month. I was advised there were still seats available and I would receive a call back within an hour to know how many. It's been a few days and I have not heard anything back. Needless to say, you can expect to play a game of cat and mouse and lose time to get basic information or any basic communication. The communication I’ve received back thus far has been nothing of informal, uninformative and unprofessional.
