This is our second year in a row with Captain Jason of A Pair A Dice Charters. What a fun experience! Jason has put us on fish each trip (though it's not a guarantee). He is a fun guide, conversational, and willing to teach about fishing and conservation. His boat and tackle are well maintained and your trip will not disappoint. A great family business. Only reason I’m leaving 5 stars is because I can’t leave 500. The level of service and attention to detail exceeded expectations. The booking was easy and Wendy patiently answered all of my 8000 questions. Cpt. Jason is just as awesome. The man is laid back, genuine, down to earth, and as good as they come. His patience, knowledge, and dedication to his craft lead to one of the greatest vacation experiences we’ve *ever* had as a family. Best experience ever! From the booking and specific directions to Captain Jason making sure all the kids had fun! So much knowledge and just an enjoyable trip! The fish were biting and Captain Jason kept us moving to give numerous chances to catch some big fish! We are repeat customers and you can’t go any where else and get what you get from Captain Jason!

This is our first time in Orange Beach and this was by far my favorite experience!! We took the trip to celebrate our anniversary and to get away before the school year starts. We have a small baby, a toddler, and a teenager with a lung issue so it was really important for us to choose activities with the least risk of covid exposure and not break the bank. We were honestly shocked how affordable this private charter was and it was well worth it!!!

This is a husband and wife owned and operated business and their combination of professionalism and personal touch is amazing. Wendy made the booking process easy and made sure to inform us of everything we needed to know for our trip. She recommended booking a 6-8pm time slot so that it wouldn't be too hot for the baby and man...was it the perfect time!! The weather, views, and sunset blew me away.

Capt. Jason made the trip truly memorable!! Our toddler was so intrigued and amazed the entire time! He loved going through what we caught in our shrimp net! And it's honestly hard to get our teenager really engaged these days and Capt. Jason made it so exciting for him to feed the birds. Now the dolphins...you CANNOT get any closer to the dolphins than you will on this boat!! They were right next to us because they were following our shrimp net! The other charters were following our boat because we were the ones drawing the dolphins' attention. We saw SOOOO many dolphins..including baby dolphins too. All in all this was a fantastic experience and will be sure to book again in the future!!

We had a blast on this charter! I called them during our vacation in the Gulf Shores and was able to snag a sunset dolphin cruise for the next day! The weather was dicey throughout the day, but it ended up being great conditions for our tour! Captain Jason was great on our tour (our group had 4 adults 40-60 years old and kids - 10 & 12 year old). He found us a lot of dolphins on our trip.
We also had a blast dragging the shrimp net and seeing the fish & shrimp that we caught. The bay was very calm and it was fun to be able to hear the dolphins as they surfaced and all birds too! I have done other private charters like this during other vacations and also the big dolphin boat tours and I much prefer this quiet, specialized tour (especially during covid!).
The booking process was perfect and everything was set up and managed well. Great communication and text messages from Wendy. I would definitely recommend Pair-A-Dice charters.

This review is long overdue. We had such a great on our chartered trip it was the highlight of our time on Gulf shores. Captain Jason was so great with kids & had everything we needed. Opportunity to see live shrimp, squid, crab, dolphins, stingrays is so different than their aquarium experiences. My big kid still talks about catching the stingray. Thank you so much!
