My family and I did the lunch cruise. It was very nice cruise. The Captain was very informative and seemed to love his job and the area of Dubuque. Wasn't sure what to expect for the food, however it was delicious. The roast beef was top notch. Not just good for a cruise but overall great.
Timing was a well oiled machine starting and ending right on time.
Only reason not a 5 is the ship is a bit dated and tight down below, but not enough for me to not want to do again sometime. Overall very good experience and my entire family enjoyed.

What a delightful evening we had cruising the Mississippi River with the wonderful crew of the American Lady. The food was delicious (catfish, pork loin, green beans, salad, mashed potatoes and bread pudding). The captain and crew were very friendly, and even though it had rained all day, the dusky evening hours were gorgeous! We highly recommend the dinner cruise experience!

This was my first time on a dinner cruise and it was really fun for being a cold day. My sister, mom, grandmother, and I went on this cruise after state bowling and had a good time. There were only 16 people signed up for the Saturday night that we went so there was plenty of space to move around. In regards to the food, it wasn't bad but the beef tenderloin medallions were really chewy and almost rubbery. I would recommend going upstairs to see the views and talk to the captain. He seemed like a nice guy and had a lot of cool information about the area and the restaurant business. If I was in the area again I would probably go on another cruise.

We did the sunset dinner cruise. The cruise was nice, I actually fell asleep on the way back it was so relaxing. Did not really care for the dinner served.

Great experience!!! Saw eagles lots of wildlife and veautiful scenery! Awesome experience going through the lock. The owner Charlie is a great chef and super friendly GREAT cook as well, food was delicious!!! Has lots of great stories to tell. HIGHLY recommend!!!

We had the best time on the sunset dinner cruise with Captain Charley. The food was delicious. We really loved the salad, potatoes and bread pudding, but it was all tasty. Charley took time to let our son drive the boat. He was calm, fun, informative and incredibly kind. It was a lovely cruise. Our family of 5 highly recommends it!

Highly recommend and enjoyed this river cruise. I did the dinner cruise. The food was great. The three cheese mashed potatoes were delish and the chocolate chip bread pudding.. omg can I have more. Soda is free however alcohol is not. You are able to walk freely around the boat and have your drink with you. Staff was super friendly. Did this in early October which was awesome because of the fall colors and the awesome sunset. Would do this dinner cruise again.

The ride was beautiful. Dinner was also very good. The servers were friendly as well. Checking into the boat was fast & easy. They turned on the heat when the sun went down and kept everyone warm. Lots of photo opportunities!
