Family of four. Ed took us out for a morning tour including Emerald Bay, a swim at the DL Bliss State Park, and a close look along the southern shore back to the marina base. Wonderful vessel. Excellent commentary from Ed. We learned a lot about Tahoe past and present. Would highly recommend. Ed could tailor it to whatever you want.

To Alpenglow Boat Co. and in particular a heartfelt thanks to Ed! What an amazing way to celebrate our 53rd Wedding Anniversary. The boat trip to Emerald Bay was fantastic. The surrounding scenery amazing and Ed was the perfect host who even went out of his way to show me the waterfall. The boat was comfortable and really nice. Seeing the bay from the boat in contrast to seeing it from land makes such a difference. Added to this A lovely lunch and a Chardonnay made the experience so memorable… something we will always remember. Thank you for the experience. Hans & Dee Stein

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with Alpenglow Boat Co. We were pleasantly surprised they went the extra mile to make it a special evening. I would highly recommend the tour with them in the morning or evening for the special sunrise/sunset tours as Lake Tahoe often exceeds expectations. Thanks Ed for making it an awesome evening on that awesome Century boat!

What an incredible day! What a beautiful lake! What a gorgeous boat! Our time in Lake Tahoe was the high point of our summer. And the Pinnacle of that trip was spending an afternoon on the Alpenglow Boat Company's wooden boat, the Radiance. This beauty was built in 1957 and has been completely restored to its original splendor. Everything was immaculate, the tour guide was knowledgeable, the views of the mountains and Emerald Bay took your breath away, especially during sunset! How fun to be on such a unique craft in a place where wooden boats once roamed freely, and now get all kinds of attention from everyone you pass. We really felt special to enjoy such a unique experience in this wonderland.

We had the best time on the sunset boat cruise with Captain Ed. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening celebrating our ten year wedding anniversary. He shared so much information and history about the area and had the boat at the perfect location to catch the sunset. He helped my husband coordinate champagne and charcuterie for our boat ride as well. The boat is beautiful and we loved every minute of our cruise!

My fiancé and I did a 2-hour sunrise cruise and couldn't recommend it more. The water is so calm, the lake is quiet, and you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Our captain took us to Emerald Bay where we docked and walked around the beach for a bit. As one of the most popular spots in Tahoe, it was fantastic to be at Emerald Bay during such a peaceful, quiet time, while learning about its history from our captain. The sunrise cruise is a must do!

First of all, we've heard nothing but great things about these guy so we were so excited to go out on the lake with them during our visit to Tahoe!

They were so attentive and intentional to our needs and to celebrate with us! I was newly pregnant and I was afraid I would be nauseous, but actually the fresh lake air and beauty really refreshed me. They were so attentive in checking in with me (how I was feeling, if I needed anything). My husband and I had the best time. They took us out right around the end of the day to see the sun lower down near the mountains and the view was spectacular from every side!

But honestly -- the real showstopper is the boat itself! It is SO BEAUTIFUL. It's a classic, vintage wooden boat that clearly has been kept in excellent condition. What a beauty. It felt so luxurious, high end, and special to be in. It felt like the boat was made just for us to enjoy that night.

We are so pleased to have had this experience and would very highly recommend booking with Alpenglow Boat Co. We felt so celebrated and they made our night so special. It was 100% worth it! We recommend them to all our family and friends who are visiting Tahoe!
