Just came back from spending a week aboard the Cat Ppalu. Captain Bill, Engineer Chris, DM Stephen and the best chef Stacy were an amazing crew. The diving was top shelf thanks to great briefings and great selection by Captain Bill. This was one of the best dive experiences of my life and we will be putting together a group to visit again next year. Thanks so much for a wonderful memory for my 60th Birthday.

I just returned from my second Blackbeard’s liveaboard on the Morning Star, and I loved it. Blackbeard’s is the liveaboard you book if you want to become fairly close with two dozen strangers, don’t mind very basic accommodations, and are really there for the diving. There’s a camaraderie that develops in a setting like this I don’t think you can replicate if everyone has private or semi-private cabins. Sure, we’re all kind of ‘roughing it,’ but we’re doing it together, and we’re there for the diving – and the diving is excellent! The other thing that made this liveaboard experience great was our crew. Our Captain, Gordon, knew his stuff and ran the boat with confidence. He was always courteous, not only to his guests, but to his crew as well, which was nice to observe. That crew, Kelton, Tyrone, Tristan, Carson and our cook, Sophia, did an outstanding job taking care of us. They clearly enjoyed their jobs and really seemed to like having Gordon as their captain. All in all this was a great liveaboard experience. I’ll be back!

Greatest vacation of my life! Had Captain Morgan! As a captain he’s the best! The food was amazing you are going to eat really really good do amazing diving have a lot of fun. I’d recommend bring a small foam seat cushion you do a lot of sitting on deck you’ll thank me by day 3. Also I’d say bring a water bottle to refill your water you get a small coffee cup having a water bottle to refill is helpful.

I was on the Bahamas aqua cat for the first week of August 2022. What an amazing week! The crew, captain Sam , first mate drew , dale, Tammy , Thor and jasmine plus all the support staff made this the best week! I did 23 dives in 6 days and took some great pics ! I plan on returning in the future thanks for a great week!

Just returned from a week diving Bahamas on the Aquacat. Fabulous experience. The boat was clean, everything ran smoothly, room very comfortable with lots of storage. Good was superb with many options every meal, and fresh cookies always available.
Now, be aware diving in the Bahamas isn’t what it was 13 years ago (sadly), but it’s still good (and we are jaded divers doing most of our diving lately in the Pacific/Indian Oceans).
The dive crew was incredible- VERY safety conscious, but also VERY fun loving- they kept things interesting with their antics!
Co-capt Ingrid and Capt Sam were a wonder- helping out wherever they were needed- I have never seen the captain of a liveaboard helping out on the dive deck or clearing dinner plates & serving dessert.
This entire crew worked better together (& obviously respected & liked each other) than any other crew we’ve dove with.
We are currently planning another All Star liveaboard in another part of the world. They will be our go-tos in the future.

Can’t say enough good things about this company! Just returned from my liveaboard trip on Blackbeard’s and have zero complaints. Tons of awesome dives with a helpful and attentive crew. And the food far surpassed expectation for such a low priced trip. The Friday before we boarded I had issues with my hotel that meant I was without a place to sleep at midnight. The crew of the Sea Explorer immediately took care of me and let me stay in the boat one night early to make sure I was safe and taken care of. If you are looking for a fun trip with a group who will take good care of you, this is it!

Just did my second liveaboard and my first aboard the AquaCat.
The boat was older than expected but it was very clean and well fairly well maintained.
I found the crew to be VERY accommodating! All of them without exception were very pleasant and professional.
The food was good. Not great, but good. The drinks were plentiful (bartending was limited though but the serve yourself option workout well).
D, the food server and housekeeper was outstanding!
The diving,....well, it was fair. Of the 20 dives sights we did, the reefs were dead or dying on 17 or those 20 sites. I realize this has nothing to do with AquaCat, but people should be aware of this. Some of the extreme outer banks were in okay shape, but the boat is only about to cover so many miles, in so many days.....they tried.
Also I should note that reefs are dead or dying just about everywhere, so again, of areas effected, this one is no different.
On a side note, the shark dives were good, the satellite tower dive sights and Washing Machine were all great!
Again, as to the AquaCat, it was a good adventure and a good time with a good crew.
