The hotel is situated near the airport. The inside decor of the hotel was very nicely done. The rooms were nice and cozy. The bed was super comfortable. I slept like a baby. It was extremely quiet considering it was near the airport. The breakfast was really delicious. I will definitely be staying here again.

I WILL stay here again. I had a great one night stay. The room was wonderful. Everything just worked. My first hotel room with hardwood floor / no carpet. Internet worked great. Got a lot of work done. This team pays attention to details ... the room door had a doorstop! I love that. My work involves lots of tech gear and I always struggle getting gear in and out of my room. That doorstop saved me frustration. Breakfast was great and the person wrangling breakfast was cheerful and positive making a great start to the day. Thank you team. (Please do follow Oakland best practice and empty out our vehicle so nothing is visible encouraging a break in.)

Nice room hands dow, this hotel is truly a diamond in the rough. Part of town that is, got in later and was nervous about car being maybe broken into...parked amongst many and took everything out. No issues. Front desk gal very friendly and saw the catfood out front and there were a few kitties and 2 racoons...mini zoo!!|Did hear a sideshow and fast cars squeeling and racing in vicinity, wanted to go see but thought better of it! Extremely awesome rooms, huge, spacious!! Yes a diamond in the rough and a pristine oasis as stated before. Barring any outside activity. Cross your fingers!!!

Stay away from this property if you are looking for customer service, quality, and services that they advertise online. Horrible customer service and unresponsive and unprofessional management. We stayed there for 4 nights in Dec 2023. On our first night, we reported a nonfunctioning hot tub, but nothing was done to get the hot tub fixed during our 4 nights/5 days stay. After sitting in a COLD hot tub, we went back to our room to take a hot shower, but there was no hot water in the shower at the time. It was torture. On top of that, we found a spider on the pillow and took it to the front desk to show the proof. The front desk representative didn’t even offer to replace the pillow. We found sliver fish in the bathroom. At night, we saw a few cats roaming around and sleeping on guests’ cars. There were lots of other hotels available in December 2023 that we could’ve booked, but we booked this hotel because of the hot tub. Also, they had a note on the front desk that there was no housekeeping due to the Christmas holidays, which we were unaware of at the booking. We didn’t want to stay there as there were a lot better/nicer hotels available for lower prices, but we were told that the Manager would call us to resolve our issue. 4 days went by, but no manager made any efforts to even apologize for the lack of services that we paid for. We finally saw manager, Vijay Singh on the site on our last day and tried talking to him. He brushed off our attempt saying that he will review our complaint and get back to us. No action was taken by him until we checked out. Not even a word of apology came out of his mouth. They are compensating their unappealing Industrial location with lack of services. What a shame! Best Western Franchise should be ashamed of letting this management represent their name. It’s a shame they are calling this 0-star property a PLUS to fool people.

This hotel is deep in a residential and industrial area. It doesn't look like a safe neighborhood and they suggest bringing everything from your car. The first night the ice machine didn't work, but they fixed that. We had to stay here for a week due to car issues. We used the hot tub many times and that was amazing. We also used their laundry room twice. It may look small but it is efficient. The staff was always nice and helpful. I had to change my review after the first night to be fair to the hotel. They did fix the issues we had right away.

This is our go-to hotel when we have an early flight out of OAK. We have stayed here three times with the most recent stay in April 2024. Check in staff is friendly. The parking lot is well lit around the clock, but they did say to not leave anything in the car due to break-ins. We also parked where the car was visible from the reception area. We did not have any issues. Rooms are good sized, spacious bathrooms and always clean. We have had the free breakfast with lots of variety.||Be aware that the Hegenberger corridor (the main area a street away that leads from freeway to airport) has been experiencing quite a bit of crimes and is making the news (smash and grabs of luggage at gas station while people filling their cars, Walmart closed permanently, other places closing and lots of signage about this around the stores that are still open). Just be very cautious/aware if you are venturing out for gas or food in the area and don't leave anything of value in your car (even in the trunk).

Horrible staff. Especially the manager. ||Booked a room here went to check in lady at the front desk wouldn’t let me because I had a cash app card I was trying to use|For my deposit and refused to rent me a room. I had booked through super and already paid for the room and in order to get a refund best western would have to type a letter on an official letter head of the company explaining why we couldn’t rent a room there so I had called and explained this to the manager and told him that’s the only way to get my 300$ back and he said that he wouldn’t do it because he wasn’t making a dime from it smh. Ridiculous unprofessional and rude. Holiday inn is definitely a better choice then this dump.

Room and the front desk was great! The room was very clean. Breakfast was also a nice bonus. They served bacon and eggs
and had yogurt, apples, and cereal. The breakfast was probably one of the best that I had at a Best Western. On the other hand, the location isn’t the best. In the middle of a work district in Oakland. Another good bonus was the indoor pool. Not many hotels in San Francisco have indoor pools. Pool was not crowded and the hot tub was working. Overall, decent place to stay!
