Just finished a trip down the Middle Fork of Salmon with John and the gang. I agree with all 5 star reviews. Certainly one of the best family trips we have ever taken!

Awesome river and an equally fabulous band of guides. They know the Middle Fork like a romp of bipedal river otters and ensure everyone on the trip has a great experience. If Michelin did river trips, the crew would get 3 stars!

Just completed our second 6 day trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with ASV and we cannot begin to describe the AWESOME time that we had on BOTH trips. Pretrip planning was a breeze with the amount of information and they even had a shuttle service from Boise! Once we got on the river, we were blown away by the entire experience. The guides were second to none! The food was far better than any restaurant that you'll find (they even brought a torch for the creme brulee). The accommodations on the river would rival most hotels too! Big tents, cots, full sized pillows, the WORKS! We were even fortunate on our second trip to be accompanied by the sweetest golden retriever who just made the trip so much better! Words can't describe a trip with ASV, on the experience can! Thanks again to Diana, Shanna, Eli, Luke, Connor, Dawson, Darren, Cody, Elliot, John...and of course...Zoey the golden retriever!

I took my first guided trip down the Middle Fork with Adventure Sun Valley and I cannot praise them enough for the magical, life-changing experience they provided for our group of 22 girls. Everything was first-class - from the booking process, to the logistics of wrangling each guest, and to the actual trip itself. Thank you.

As for the guides, there aren't enough words to describe how hard they worked to make our trip so special. Each guide is talented, experienced, hard-working, and truly made us feel like we were always safe, comfortable, and entertained. Each day, we arrived at a new place down the river to find our camps set up, our beds set up, and our belongings by our tents. And these guides can COOK! Five star meals included steak and shrimp scampi with (OMG) creme brulee, fresh chicken fajitas, french toast, chicken salad on croissants, with appetizers, coffee stations, and always fresh, clean water. We didn't have to lift a finger and they amazed us every day.

The guides also know the Middle Fork like the back of their hands - they put me into all the fish, showed us where to find petroglyphs, took us on hikes to secret waterfalls, and educated us on the geology and history of the entire basin. I can't thank each and every one of them enough for their hard work, professionalism, and service. Thank you.

If you want to float the middle fork of the Salmon you need to go with this group. First Class customer service the whole time. Food was awesome and they take great care of you.
