Although I had AAA for years this was my first visit to a physical location and decided to go to the closest one - West Hartford, CT. I needed baby passport photos, so I called the office first, to ensure they provided this service. They told me they did, and that the baby needed to remain in their car seat etc. Once I walked in and told the staff what I needed they seem bothered .. Such rude staff .. I swear. But I decided to stay since I had my USPS passport app right after. I was asked to lay the baby flat on a desk .. yet baby was cooperating and got some photos taken. I went to my passport app just to be told babies need to look at the camera more and not have eyes closed nor look sideways etc so I decided to go back. The look and attitude I received once back. I kindly asked to re take the pics but this time wasn’t happening since my baby was fussy. When I kindly mentioned the fact that I was not happy on how I was being treated let alone the fact that they don’t know how to take babies passport photos correctly… I heard these type comments: “ if you would like nicer pictures go to a professional photographer” “We know what we are doing but it’s your baby who is not feeling good” etc. to make a long story short, this location has the most unkind and non - kid friendly staff. Every single person in the office I talked to had same attitude - like 4-5 of them. Never going back .. hoping a supervisor reprimand these employees . I worked years in customer service and hospitality and can’t even believe these people’s attitude towards a loyal member , let alone the fact I was with a small child. To sum up, went to Cromwell, CT branch the day later and they took such great care of us!!!

Lost my drivers license and scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Walked in at my scheduled time and was there for about 15 minutes. Ashley was very helpful in answering all my questions at the front desk. I was in and out. Definitely recommend this location for all your AAA needs.

Customer service was horrible. Ashley has a very nasty attitude,Poor customer service, not friendly at all. Very sarcastic when responding to questions. Everyone else was wonderful.

I went to this office Tuesday with hopes to change my name on my license. Unfortunately, no one could help me since they only take walk ins. I scheduled an appointment for two days later and brought everything I was told: marriage license, drivers license, passport, SS card. My passport and social security card had my updated name. Since my marriage license was international, they couldn’t move forward with the name change. I find this very hard to believe - if the US government can change my name with my marriage license, why can’t AAA? I felt like the lady just didn’t want to help me. I will not be coming back to this office.

bad service. customer service agents on the phone were rude and snappy. the first woman i spoke to didn’t even put in our help request after we told her we were on the side of the road in a dangerous area. then another agent hung up in the middle of me explaining our situation to her calmly. waited for two hours before calling back 20 minutes after our maximum wait time and then they sent all the texts and links they were supposed to. extremely long service time, rude agents, poor service
