We spent our 9th wedding anniversary here and it was the best vacation we have ever had, it broke our hearts to leave. We can’t wait to come back sometime in the future. The amount of wildlife in this little spot is unreal, feeding the turtles was my favorite part. Inside or outside was comfortable and peaceful, there was never a moment here that felt boring or dull. All around we had an amazing experience and feel blessed to have been able to enjoy this wonderful cottage. Thank you Jerre and Gloria!

We have been making this wonderful place our annual retreat. We love it here! It's so peaceful and rejuvenating for us. We look so forward to getting away to come here. We love the seclusion, being out of the city life for a few days, and we love seeing wildlife and listening to all the nature sounds that we don't here as much of in the noisy & busy city. We love taking the paddle boat out, love fishing, love cooking together, love the views out here (sunsets, etc), love going for walks and just enjoying God's creation and sharing quality time together! We always wish we could just stay "one more day", and wish we had a place like this to call our own so we can get away more often, and so we could also have a place for other couples to get away and enjoy as well.

Stayed here from 11/2-11/6.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Cottage is so cozy and welcoming, you immediately feel at home. The property is private and beautiful. Really feels like its own corner of the world when you just need to get away. Would absolutely recommend to any couples or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet retreat.

Wonderful little cottage. Scenic views, immaculately clean. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. DVD movie selection was pretty good and varied as well! Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Also, local wildlife was plentiful, even on a snowy March afternoon. Some hooded mergansers and deer along with the usual Canada geese and cardinals.

Such a great experience. Everything at this place is so well thought out. The whirlpool tub is so relaxing, and their DVD collection is extensive. Would highly recommend for anybody needing some peace and quiet.

We discovered ASC about 10 years ago and have been back multiple times. The cottage is an amazing and special place for couples. So many people who have spent time here describe it as magical. There is a small kitchen area perfect for making meals. The roomy shower has more than enough space for two and even has some very nice body sprays. Upstairs in the loft area is a nice whirlpool tub for 2 in front of a window to over look the pond. (Yes there is a blind there to keep things private in case you and your partner decide to forgo the suits). There is a small tv there and movies to watch if you choose. But one of the truly wonderful aspects is that the cottage is somewhat cut off and remote. There is no cable or internet. We have found that cell reception is good but we tend to use that lack of direct technology to unplug and focus on one another. There is a small bbq and even a firepit there to enjoy. During warmer months you can paddleboat out on the pond. They even have food to feed the fish and the snapping turtles. (As such I dont recommend swimming in the pond) The cottage is close enough to many fun and interesting thing and Jerre and Gloria have made sure to have many books and guides to the area. We often will take the 40 some odd mjnute trip into the WI Dells for a day. Its an amazing place where many couples get engaged, celebrate anniversaries or even take time to repair the everyday stresses on your relationships. We absolutely recommend ASC. The place fills quickly and seldom has ad hoc openings so plan accordingly.

Super cute cottage on your very own pond. Hot tub on 2nd floor with a window that overlooks the pond and scenery/sunset. Movies only. A bunch to choose from or bring your own dvds. Screened in porch was a nice touch to sip coffee in the morning without having to worry about bugs. Walk in tile shower was spacious. Had a very relaxing time for our anniversary weekend.
