We have been renting this home (Scherek/Lakeshore Retreat) for family vacations and special events for the last 14 years, needless to say we LOVE this house as if it is our own (truly wish it was). This trip was a special one as we had three generations in one home, such a blast to share this special place with the new generation. Bass Lake Home Rentals is so easy to work with and responsive to any questions during our stay. Thank you again for everything, can’t wait to come stay here again in the near future!

The cabin again was perfect for our group, lots of room and the kitchen/dining area was a plus. Everything was clean and we felt right at home. We have stayed in a number of places on the lake but the Mon Pere cabin is by far the best. With amazing views of the lake, afternoon shade and picturesque sunsets reflecting off the lake, clouds and green forests. Bass Lake Home Rentals is number one, making renting a breeze. Wonderful lakefront property. Great for our annual family reunion.
Local momma bear and cubs were relocated during our stay. Made for some drama but we got the app to track them now.

Two comments/suggestions:
1. Need to fix the ladder on the dock. Way too hard to climb out without it.
2. House that size could really benefit from a second refrigerator and possibly a separate ice maker.

Terri at Bass Lake Home rentals is awesome! Just finished our 49th year at the Lake and Terri and her staff went above and beyond. We received calls throughout the week checking in to make sure all was good. I would highly recommend Bass Lake Home Rentals to anyone who is planning a trip up to the lake!

We had a wonderful family week. House worked out perfectly for our large family. Enjoyed the tiered balcony with seating for those that wanted shade and those that wanted to enjoy the sun. The dock was a little challenging getting the boat in and out. Little narrow and not much slack to turn . The only recommendation I would make to owner is : carpet the rec room and add a couple twin sleeper sofas to accommodate more space for sleeping. All in all great accommodations .
