Overall it’s a nice trail system. My biggest complaint is that they open at 9 and close the trails at 5/5:30pm. There are still 2 hours of daylight so it really cuts a large chunk of your ride time. They should allow later riding on weekends and when the sun is up later. I can understand 5pm in January when it’s dark at 5pm. To make it worse, they have lots of signs about paying late fees if you’re not back in time. So we never felt comfortable going out past 4pm in case we ran into any issues and couldn’t get back in time. So all in all, you can only get maybe 6 hours of good riding in a day which is very disappointing.

For the terrain, know that it’s very rocky, not a lot of trails to just cruise. I like cruising at 15mph-20mph on an ATV, the average speed here is probably closer to 10mph. The trails are well marked and lots of signs point back to home base which is very helpful.

They take safety seriously here which is nice. They have safety checkpoints before entering trails and they have staff on the trails monitoring.

The place was super busy today, but thankfully the place is large enough that it didn’t impact riding. We hit a few bottlenecks, but no big deal.

AOAA is a great place to ride. Clearly marked trails which will keep you from getting lost on there property. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Any vehicle is allowed with some trails being vehicle specific. Anything from flat ground to crazy rock hill climbs.

AOAA has great trails, amazing staff, great facilities and overall wonderful place to go riding. Especially the staff who go above and beyond to help even when on the trails. We will keep coming back to ride

Top notch place to go off-roading. Plenty of trails to choose from and at a great price. For those needing it, they have air up stations. Highly recommend!

Trails are amazing and alot of them require experience so be ready. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the main area where you park, the only place that would have anything to drink or eat was closed. Although we brought things, one of us did not and ended up leaving because of it.

Much could be done to improve the parking area with food, refreshments, and snacks.
Also, the store for gear could benefit from having more inventory and variety of products.

AOAA was a blast! The crew was great, and the riding was fantastic. The trails offer a great mix of wide open semi smooth roads to rocky hill climbs and everything in between. Great location at just under 4 hours from Long Island, will definitely be back real soon!
