Fun experience! Our family rented 2 tandem kayaks from the Cannery Row as walk-ins. The weather was nice but we were offered over-jackets and pants plus a mandatory life-vest. We were given clear instructions and off we went for an awesome experience on the bay. We saw sea-lions, some adorable otters and pelicans. We’ve already recommended Adventures by the Sea to a friend. 🙂

Did the 2 hour guided kayak tour and had a blast. I hadn’t kayaked before but they make it incredibly easy. Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about all things Monterey! She was super informative while also letting us have our freedom to paddle around and do our own thing which I appreciated. My favorite part was the sea lions at the end, incredible experience! 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome experience taking our bikes along 17 mile drive! I would never do the drive again after enjoying this bike ride so much 🙂 We walked in a Sunday morning around 9 AM and got swiftly set up with e bikes. You pay after you come back, which was great considering we would’ve ended up overpaying if we preemptively paid. They taught us how to use the e bikes and we got started! The bikes worked amazingly the whole time with no issues. Really memorable experience!

We did pop by the other office by the old wharf and they were much ruder to us. Was glad the Cannery Row location was so welcoming.

Our tour guide, Kyle, was outstanding. We enjoyed the tour but had hoped we would ride to the Lone Cypress. We requested a 20 minute later start as we were driving from the San Jose airport. I didn't realize the 20 minute later start would cut off time on our tour. I should have confirmed that we would not sacrifice time on our tour for arriving past 2pm. The sights we saw were great. The bikes were awesome.

We highly recommend this company. This is the second time I've used them. The first time was girlfriends day, loved it so much used them again. Bikes are sturdy, dependable, easy to operate & comfortable. The access route is exceptionally wonderful because you get access through ALL scenic routes in Cannery Row, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach. My husband & girlfriends loved it so much we are planning future bike rides. Im also planning a family one with my grown children & grandchildren. Its such a beautiful, scenic, peaceful, fun, safe bike trip. Book it, you won't regret it.

Great experience!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even had jackets and dry bags, and anything you need really, available. I had a really awful experience at a nearby kayaking place so I’m really thankful I found these guys who are a way better option!!! I love kayaking in Monterey so I’m very happy we found them!! This is the best place to see seals and otters in their natural habitat as closely as you legally can ?

We rented bicycles twice. The shop is conveniently located, and we had lovely rides both days - a different direction each day. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the bicycles worked well. A wonderful experience.

Best experience in Monterey! We had a blast. Went 25 miles on the coast. Saw amazing wildlife and ocean views as well as spectacular houses on 17 miles drive and pebble beach area. We also decide to do some geocaching and there were several stops along the way. Made for a really fun adventure! One of our bikes battery went dead for about the last 2 miles but we made it home with a little extra work. But overall such a good experience!!!
