Went on a ride for my boyfriend’s and my anniversary. We did the 3 hour long tour and it was gorgeous. We were able to make a couple stops and take photos as well. Highly recommend and will be renting this ride again!

Was very accommodating, we had to switch our times a few times and they were understanding and accommodated our changes! When we got there everything moved quickly with the checking in! The views and route was so beautiful and informative ! A must

We did the 2 hour tour in the electric GoCar today and I HIGHLY recommend it! The car was very comfy, easy to operate, easy in & out for pictures and strolls along the way. The tour was informative and the gps was great as well! We will definitely be back! Thanks to Justin for being awesome as well!!

I have used this service twice now. The first time my husband and I did the tour with the E-Coupe we had so much fun. We decided to come back with our kids and rented 2 scoot coupes and had a blast! Staff is also very friendly. If you are looking for something fun and family friendly in Monterey, I would definitely recommend Sea Car Tours.

I recently participated in the Cannery Row Go Car Tour, and unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. From the start, the instructions to get there were incorrect. We were told it was in one location, but it’s actually in a plaza at the Portola Hotel and Spa, which caused unnecessary confusion.

When we finally arrived, we were told the go car we were assigned had mechanical issues, yet the guide still gave it to us. Unsurprisingly, it broke down right around the corner, raising serious concerns about our safety. Why would the guide intentionally give us a malfunctioning vehicle, especially knowing it could put us at risk?

We ended up wasting valuable time—time we paid for—waiting for assistance. Worse yet, there was no offer to compensate us for the inconvenience or the faulty car. Instead, they switched us to a different vehicle, a slower, caddy-style electric car, which was not what we wanted at all. This replacement completely altered the experience we had driven six hours to enjoy.

In theory, the tour could have been a great time, but we didn’t get the full go car experience we had anticipated and paid for. It’s extremely disappointing to have paid full price for a tour that fell so far short of what was advertised...

Today we did the 2 hour early bird tour with an added hour. While we didn’t need the extra hour, the 2 hour option was PERFECT. We opted to use the electric car. Can not wait to come back and bring more friends! Justin was so friendly and got us all set up. Also, their shop is in the shopping area near the Portola Hotel & Spa (use that address to find it easier in your gps) and that shop has the cutest vibe! 10/10 recommended.

What a fun thing to do in Monterey!
The guided gps map and audio tour made it really fun and easy!
Got to see some really cool sights I wouldn’t have known to check out and the scenery is so hard to beat! Wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. We did the 1 hour tour but would love to come back with friends and do a longer tour and make some stops along the way. Staff was super friendly and made it very easy.
