The trip was everything you could hope for a more! We had excellent weather and calm sea conditions. Only a couple minutes out of the harbor we encountered several humpback whales and so many sea lions. We got to see a humpback breach several times until we got a report of killer whales nearby! We got an incredible encounter with three killer whales including a large male. The small, faster boat is low to the water and definitely the best way to whale watch! Captain Erica and Don were so much fun and friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to come back!

Wow! What an exhilarating trip. The team onboard were so knowledgeable and interesting. The journey out was fast and fun and being only 6 on the boat was such a special experience. I would highly recommend this. Don’t be out of with it leaving out of moss landing actually a great spot to park and meet and you’re out on the open ocean so fast. Thank you team Fast Raft!

An incredible, once-in-a-lifetime type of experience! Captain K took us out to see humpback whales and orcas while providing commentary on what the whales were doing. The day started out foggy but with the Captain’s experience we saw friendly humpbacks who came up to our boat for over 50 minutes and orcas breaching! Being on this boat had us as close to the water as possible to get the full experience. Unforgettable. I can’t recommend Fast Raft enough!

Everything about our Fast Raft trip was wonderful and as advertised. The boat is indeed fast and fun, and perfect for wildlife viewing. Our trip included lots of sea lions hunting in large packs, and humpback whales in groups of 2-6. We had a couple close encounters that were pretty exciting. It's amazing to be close enough to the whales to hear them breathing out and in - not just the initial *pffff* that can be heard from a little more distance. Highly recommended for a fun ride, small group, and great overall experience. Not sure why I couldn't get my photos into the review, but photographers will stay busy on this trip too.

We had an astounding time with Fast Raft. I loved the small group, fun ride, and the opportunity to see a large variety of whales, sea lions, otters, and birds. I had booked a large boat experience at first but am so glad I cancelled it for this tour. AMAZING!!!

Run by a great team, this is the only way to experience marine life up close in the Bay area. The team is kind, knowledgeable, and provide you with a very personalized experience with a maximum of 6 people per tour. I should also advise those interested in this tour - IT GETS COLD, and there is no way around it. The seats begin to feel a bit uncomfortable after about a couple hours. Don’t sit in the front row without a pair of ski-like glasses else it will take away from the fun of it. Hope to do this again in the summer for an experience more crowded with whales!
