We booked ahead of time, for two tours. It was easy to find and check in. We saw many whales, dolphins, including Dalls porpoises, sea lions…so much! The crew is the best ever and knowledgeable and so friendly. Very dog friendly. Service dog or otherwise, as both trips had other dogs! Clean and well stocked boat. 100 percent t recommended!

This has been a great experience for our family. Beautiful vessel and very clean. Super friendly staff and the view is spectacular. Boat holds about 100 people, and we were lucky enough to have it with just the family and friends. They take reservations ahead of time, and you can book the ship for your occasion.

This is the company to go out with to go whale watching in Monterey bay.
They will find the whales for you.
Great crew. Who have a passion for the ocean and nature.
Choose between an all day trip or a 3 hour trip they will still look after you and give you an amazing adventure on the ocean.

Great experience. I was a little worried that the boat would be too big or over crowded but there are so many Humpbacks that there are enough to go round all the tours.
It got a bit uncomfortable when the Orcas appeared and 4 different tours were following the same group but it was made clear they could just go if they felt threatened.
Bring warm clothing - more than you think. It can get very cold out in the bay on an overcast day.
All in all an amazing trip during which we saw Orcas, acrobatic seals and of course the beautiful Humpback Whales.

We went on the 8 hour day trip and it was an experience of a life time. We saw hump backs, dolphins and then spent over 2 hours with Orca's. The crew were amazing and highly educated individuals in marine biology, which as a scientist myself, was the cherry on top.
I honestly couldn't recommend this company enough. The money helps continue research into protecting and monitoring the whales.

I’ve been whale watching with Monterey Bay Whale Watch for years and I have had an incredible trip each time. Yesterday was the trip of a lifetime on the 8-hour tour though! We saw killer whales and followed them around for about 7 hours watching an assortment of behaviors. You’re always in great hands with Nancy and the crew! They’re all very caring, accommodating, and knowledgeable to make the trips that much more special!

Best while watching experience I have ever had so far. I’ve only done about three, but this is the top one! Saw so many whales and not just one two or three but multiple! The day we went, the next tour saw orcas. And they saw orcas the week prior. We were not that lucky but I thought that was cool, I was happy with all the whales that we saw and we saw so many tales and fin slaps and heads come up, I don’t even know what that is called anymore, but it was really cool. We also saw wild sea otters, and sea lions playing in the open ocean, obviously a little closer to the shore, as we were going in and out, which was really awesome! So cute! Tour guide had some great information while watching. Photographers were nice. Thank goodness I took a seasick pill before I went. I normally don’t get seasick, butI feel like I almost did or could have so I went to the back of the boat and I was fine. Luckily that didn’t happen till towards the end so I could enjoy all the good stuff. So if you’re unsure, just take the seasick pill. What a great experience! Totally worth it! I would do it again!

Unbelievable experience for us and our 13 week old. We ended up going on two trips and saw countless whales both times. The staff are very knowledgeable and clearly experienced. We could not recommend this company enough! We’ll be back when the wee man is older, that’s for sure.
