In the spring of 2009 we rented an apartment in Paris from Ville Et Village, had a wonderful time with no problems. So when it came time to find a rental for Rome in May 2016, we again turned to them. The apartment was clean enough, had a great location, was almost true to the description (washer does not mean washer and dryer!) but the bed was lumpy and I found Ville Et Village before the trip very difficult to work with. I needed the physical address of the apartment in order to give to a private tour guide, and also wanted the details of who and where we were to meet someone upon our arrival for keys and a walk through of the property. The representative of Ville Et Village was VERY difficult to work with. It took several emails to get the information that I needed to the point of being very frustrating. I think that I would recommend this company again but only if the prospective renter makes sure that they bring up with the company at the beginning their expectations for communication...and also for a lump free bed!
