A big thank you to Darrin from "Ride The Redwoods", who went above and beyond to help arrange a Santa Cruz Mountain Biking weekend - a long awaited bucket list ride weekend for my friend and myself.

We were on a short business trip from Sydney Australia, with limited time to enjoy and work out the local trail network. So we asked for a 4-hour guided ride with Darrin.

Darrin went out of his way to pre-book discounted latest release Yeti mountain bikes from a local bike shop "Bicycle Trip," communicated the touch-and-go issue of potential trail closures with the typical January rainy season in Santa Cruz . He was great to hang out with, a good conversationalist, and all you need to know is we had TOP TRAILS and a TOP TIME!!!

Darrin was a great guide! I have never rode the trails in Santa Cruz and wasn’t really sure where to start with my level of experience(not much). Darrin was patient with me struggling through the uphill(a little hungover), and offered great tips throughout the ride. I will definitley hire Darrin again next time I head to Santa Cruz. I will also look into his coaching services to try to learn some proper technique that I know I am lacking.
