I was told to go to the ER from urgent care, and from the moment I arrived, I was greeted and treated wonderfully. The staff quickly took me back, got everything started right away, and were incredibly nice and kind throughout the process.
Once in the room, they took the time to explain everything before doing anything, which really put me at ease. I’m not a fan of IVs because my veins are hard to access, but the nurse who did my IV was amazing! She found the vein with ease and made me feel super comfortable. Every single nurse I encountered was just as kind and attentive.
The doctors were great, the CT tech was great, and the facility was super clean. Overall, I had a great experience, and I would recommend this ER to everyone.

I brought my son in this ER 3 days ago because I know they're top-notch. My son was having trouble breathing and we were brought right back in. Everyone treated us with kindness. Special commendation to Maritza RT who was very patient and compassionate while administering the nebulization treatments. Melissa A. RN who frequently visited and gave compassionate care to my son.

I had an emergency yesterday, so for the first time I chose Lake Nona ER and I was so glad I did. The whole entire staff was so compassionate, so thorough and show such respect for me and respect for my time and did not at any time leave me hanging or wondering. Not to mention it’s beautiful and spotless. I just want to Thank Doctor T and everyone who assisted in my care? God Bless you all?

We arrived Friday, 7/5/24, afternoon. My husband had experienced chest pains early in the day. Within 1 min of arriving the clinical staff were escorting us back to a treatment room. Jen, Jeff, Corrine and Dr. Swisher began their assessments and instantly put us at ease. This team is stellar!!! Great coordination of care and excellent communication! Thankfully all test results were negative for a cardiac event and no additional treatment was needed.

I checked into this ER on Sept 22nd. Great customer service from the front desk from hector registration and andy security grabbed me a wheelchair. My nurses anna and Yvonne were the best. Very compassionate and professional.

I felt very disgusted with the room linens. The first sheet was stained, second had someone else ekg sticker on it and third was also stained.

It was disappointing having to wait over an hour for a physician. Attending at that time was Dr. Redman in which he never came within that hour of waiting. Finally, the nightshift physician Dr. Pittman cared for me at change of shift. He was wonderful, took his time to listen and evaluate.

I got there with abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. From front desk to the nurses and doctor were exceptional. Amazing staff, clean and organized facility. Dr Swissher took her time to explain every single result. Also the nurses, Lisa, Melisa and Marcie were a super wonderful team. I will recommend this ER.

I was told that I could call the Lake Nona facility to speak with the doctor and receive help for any questions that I may have. However, I called this facility on 10-11-2024 at 10:18 am and spoke with the charge nurse Jeff, he was very rude, and did not answer any of my questions with a helpful answer. I explained that I am new in the area and he showed no care to help me get information about nearby hospitals and ER facilities. He was very condescending and mean to me over the phone and doesn’t represent the hospital in a positive and professional manner. I asked him about other hospitals in the area and his response was “ I don’t know- Google it” when he could’ve said I’m not sure but let me find out for you. I have been in terrible pain for over a week because of an infection in my breast. I am new to Orlando and have not been able to go to the hospital because I don’t have insurance yet on top of the recent hurricane that is making it more difficult to get the medical treatment I need all the more painful, this treatment over the phone absolutely made matters worse.

Had the best people take care of me. Whitney downplayed how much of an important role nurses play in brining in patients and making them feel comfortable and Dr. Swisher was beyond helpful. Hope to never visit again but if I have to I hope I have them again.
