We spent two days with OAR. We did the tube float one day and the full river raft tour the next. Our group had mixed feelings about the tube float but it stormed for most of the trip, which made it hard to enjoy. The guide was very nice and helpful.
Some of us felt a little uncomfortable in the tubes which made it feel longer and not helpful in relaxing. Probably wouldn’t choose the tube float again.

The real fun was taking the whitewater raft trip. It was exciting and totally worth the trip to the Ocoee. Our guide, Caleb, was super chill and in full control of our trip down the river. His expertise and friendly disposition put us at ease immediately and made for a perfect recipe for an awesome trip. I will ask for him the next time we go. I did get flipped out twice ? in rapids and was quickly pulled out. The guides we observed from OAR all day definitely know what they are doing and can be trusted to get you downriver safely. They also provided lunch at a midway stop which was basic sandwich and chips and a drink but it hit the spot. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this group!

Such a fun time!!!! Lots of white water, shuttle to and from, and great camp grounds too. Mike our raft guide was fantastic. In the office Grace was great at the counter. In operations JJ & Sarah were keeping everything together like a well oiled machine. The picture section was run by Alexis and she did it like a pro. And thank you Mr bus driver, you kept all 4 wheels on the ground and got us to where we needed to go. Please book your trip with OAR, you won't regret it!!!

First of all, our guide named James was the absolute best! We were in TN for a wedding and four of us decided we wanted to go white water rafting. SO FUN! It was around a 3 hour trip on the river for the half day. Our guide named James really took the best care of us and the others on the river. He took us to jump off a big rock, pointed out landmarks, let me “ride the bull,” and navigated us safely through lots of crazy rapids! He was kind, smart, and not afraid to call me out for paddling the wrong way. ? We helped rescue a couple people who had fallen out of their rafts too which added to the fun. I’d recommend buying the pictures at the end, they’re such a fun way to remember such a neat adventure. JJ was also an awesome person. Overall, OAR was a 10/10 experience. Nice gift shop, great guides, dynamic river rafting experience, great safety protocols, just the full package! Ask for James!

I had a great experience with OAR. They explained everything well (along with a demonstration) before we hit the water. Our guide, Cameron, was very experienced. I felt safe the entire time with him. I would definitely recommend this company, and when I go back, I will use them again. You should request Cam to be your guide!

Our family had a blast white water rafting today!! Mike was very clear on teaching the group before we left. Our guide, Big John was AWESOME!!! He made our trip 100% the best! He taught us everything we needed to know, he explained what was coming ahead of us and how to handle it and even had us surfing a few rapids! We will definitely return and request Big John!

I have loved rafting the Ocoee River four times now here in East Tennessee with Outdoor Adventure Rafting. We've had great time every trip with Brock & Charlie in the past and with Sam this last weekend. They have each been very professional and fun and have worked really hard to give us a fun trip. This past weekend, we brought some international students to raft for their first time. Most didn't even know how to swim but they each loved their experience and Sam helped each one to feel safe and have a great trip on the river. Mission accomplished!

Don’t miss out of the best experience of whitewater rafting! We were not disappointed and Jakobe is by far the best guide we have ever had. We told him we wanted to have fun and and really experience the rush of it all he didn’t disappoint! From being flipped (because some of us got our left and right mixed up lol) to jumping off an huge rock and our son riding the bull! Ask for Jakobe to guide you through the most amazing rapids in TN!!
