My husband and I took our 8yr old trout fishing for the first time at the Red River Trout Dock Resort in Heber Springs, AR.

It was a wonder experience!! The Little Red River itself is absolutely beautiful. The water is clean and clear, it looks like an aquarium.
The staff will treat you like family. Kasey taught us everything we needed to know about trout fishing. We wouldn't have caught the five trout that we did without her advice.
They will clean the fish for you and cook it for you, but cooking is depending on timing.

We stayed in one of the smaller cabins. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect fishing cabin! We are planning another trip for later Fall with a bigger group of friends. We can't wait to go back! New tradition for our family for sure!

Best get away by farr. Beautiful scenery friendly staff, beautiful cabins. The atmosphere is amazing if you're interested in soul-searching reconnecting with family friends loved ones. This is the place. The owners are extremely friendly helpful and feel as though. They are your own family. This is our home away from home. This is our second time coming and we're going to continue coming around. Thank you guys so much for all you do.

My family had the most amazing time catching trout guided by Logan! Caught 18 fish and had a blast. He taught us so much so much about trout and the environment they’re living in. Felt so at home with this family business! I’m super new to fishing and was so comfortable learning. Thank you Red River Trout Dock Resort!!

Where do I even start? The location is absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazing and go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need! The fishing is fun and relaxing! The dock is so peaceful, especially at night to just sit and unwind! The cabins are clean and well kept, the outsides were just repainted, and they even offer dishes, pots, and pans, etc to make a full meal! We will definitely go back, this is our new hangout!

A hidden gem! We spent two nights in our RV and will stay longer next time. This part of the river is beautiful. The owners were so nice and scheduled us a fishing guilde, Caleb, to take us out on his boat for an amazing half day of fishing. I had my coffee on the dock while I watched the fog roll by. The bathrooms were big with showers and were very clean. We didn’t stay in cabins but they were cute. It was a quiet, shady spot on the river.

Amazing getaway for the weekend. Kasey and the staff and wonderful, warm, and welcoming. Cabins are spotless and you can see the work and love being poured into the resort. Took a guided fishing trip and caught all the fish we could eat. Highly recommend.

We love Red River Trout Dock so much! It’s family owned by kind, friendly humans who took great care of us! This place is cute and romantic with fishing, boating, hiking, beautiful panoramic views, and cozy reading spots at your fingertips. We had the most relaxing weekend fishing, swimming, reading, and napping. Looking forward to going back.

We had such an incredible time this weekend. We fished from the dock, took a guided fishing trip with Caleb, grilled and made smores, and most importantly, we relaxed. RRTD is close enough to civilization to have dinner in town, but far enough out to completely unplug and decompress. We will absolutely be back!
