Today was my first appointment at this imaging center, and overall the experience was positive—but there are some things future patients should know, especially about scheduling.

I had to call twice to make my appointment, and both times I ran into the same issue. When you call, you’re redirected to a separate scheduling line, but no one ever picks up. The first time, I was on hold for over an hour with no answer. Eventually, I hung up and called back to speak with the operator. They initially tried to redirect me back to that same scheduling line, but I explained that I had already waited an hour without getting through. Only after that did they personally assist me in scheduling the appointment. This happened both times I called—so the only reliable way to schedule is by getting back to the operator and explaining the situation.

The instructions for the ultrasound were clear: fast beforehand and drink 32 oz of water. When I arrived (30 minutes early for a 10:00 AM appointment), the waiting room was pretty full, but check-in was smooth. I handed over my ID, medical card, and referral, and I was called in about 15 minutes later.

The ultrasound tech was extremely kind, gentle, and patient, which made the experience comfortable. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I was also able to have my results faxed directly to both my primary doctor and my gynecologist, which I appreciated.

Just trying to speak to someone is a hassle!! when you finally get ahold of someone they put you on hold. I don’t have all day to be placed on hold. It’s like this no matter what day or time I call and this is very frustrating. *** update after 2 hours and 35 minutes is very ridiculous.

The CT Technician was superb, super super nice and very friendly. Highly recommended.
(The only issue was the women at the window—-some of them were unpleasant to talk to; there are a lot of them but they do not answer the calls; they just let it ring or put callers on hold for so long; the waiting were unbelievable; you will be on hold for so long, at least 40 minutes every time I call; do have a very good customer care skills, not compassionate with patients, and those kind of staff should not be at the counter/window. All of them of very snubbed).

I love this place from the time you step in the door speaking. I've been coming here for more than a decade plus! For things that my doctor has required it will get done immediately and there are no worries, they take care of each and every person that comes in there!!!

The whole process was quick and easy! Every staff member I encountered was not only professional but also incredibly warm and friendly—from the moment I called to make my appointment, to check-in, to the wonderful technician who took my mammogram images. I truly felt well cared for!

I had a very good experience at NorCal Imaging located in San Leandro, Ca.

The experience with the customer service representative over the phone to schedule my appointment was great. She explained what to expect and answered any questions I had, to the best of her knowledge. She even gave me the name and model of the MRI so I could look it up and take a look at the model before I went in for my appointment.

In addition, the front desk receptionist took my information and process me sooner than my scheduled appointment. That was very beneficial because I got to enjoy my weekend earlier.

Lastly, the person working in the MRI area was very efficient, courteous, and very professional. She gave me ear phones and I was on my way. It only took me 15 minutes or so I was in and out sooner than I thought it would be.

Great place to receive any and all MRI information that you need. I definitely recommend this place.

It took forever to get somebody on the phone to make a an appointment, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The technician was especially helpful. She carefully explained everything that was happening to me and answered all my questions.

The only complaint I have is the long wait time to schedule the appointment. The last time was close to 55 minutes. Also one person hung up on me. Another refused to help schedule my appointment and transferred me to wait even longer. The actual day of the appointment went smoothly and quickly.
