The first Sunday in October, our youngest Great-Granddaughter, Reese Ann Batschelet, was going to be Baptized / Dedicated in their local church in Spencer, Iowa. Of course I wanted to be there for it, but my husband was not able to make the trip, nor be able to stay home alone. Blue Rose Legacy Home Care came to my rescue. He was given complete care, round the clock, until I got back home at 1:00am on Tuesday morning, October 8th. I knew he was in great hands and I could enjoy my break and time away; feeling extremely grateful. (I might also add, they totally spoiled him; giving him much more one-on-one time than I am able to do.)

My children set this home care for me under protest! I was expecting to do a few visits then cancel the service to keep the kids happy. Besides I can take care of myself! Being recently widowed I didn't want help, cheerful or any people in my life. Well, you guested it, after a few weeks I am now looking forward to the visits! My first impression of her was a Christmas tree because she was all bright and cheerful. She does household chores that I struggle doing, and cooking that she is better at, and most importantly she is great company. The hours of time not doing house cleaning gives me freedom to see friends and work my hobbies. The help and support Blue Rose Legacy Home Care is giving me is instrumental in my recovery.

This was our first visit and experience with the respite care. Lora (I hope I spelled your name right) was friendly, helpful, and on time.
She did some much needed house cleaning for me, took my husband for his walk at the park. He loves to walk and that is 9ne thing I need, is someone to take him when I can’t. They seems to get along very well. I got to spend some time at lunch with a friend. Haven’t been able to do that in literally years. It was a positive experience. Thanks for providing it.
