Run down but very clean. Great value for the money.

When you place your reservation, double, triple, quadruple check. Folks are sweet and kind but English is not their strong suit. No disrespect, just facts.

Vagabond used to be our "go to place" when stopping overnight between Tucson Arizona and Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. Management seems to have changed, and it is no longer the sparkling hotel we knew. Maintenance is needed, and more breakfast choices to go with the very high price for a room.

The room lives up to it's name. Really felt like I was hiding from the cops in there. Bed is "very firm" and the auto shop next door gets very loud at like 8 or 9 am.

Dated rooms with peeling wallpaper, stained carpets. On the positive side, the water pressure was great.

This is a solid middle of the road hotel. It’s not the worst and it’s not the best. The hotel definitely needs updating, and the hallway rugs could use a deep clean, but our room was clean and functional. Bed sheets were clean and beds were comfortable. Shower and toilet were very clean as well. Breakfast was basic but good. The indoor pool is very small, more like a wading pool (It is only 3 feet deep and not heated). My girls had fun bouncing back and forth between the cold pool and warming up in the hot tub. I don’t know if we would stay here again only because the price was high for the rooms that are offered. I think our microwave was an original from the 80s 😆. The customer service was top notch, the man at the front desk was friendly and accommodating to our needs.

This place is horrible, do not trust the pictures, the pool is falling apart, paint coming off the walls, carpet all throughout so dirty and smelly. The room looks nothing like they advertise, it is dirty, the blinds were literally stained and the paint was coming off the wall. Check in was easy and the guy was nice, continental breakfast is simple and check out at 12. But honestly I am glad I brought my own towel, everything seemed dirty and of course completely outdated. The electricity kept going out every couple of hours and when we asked, the front desk said: "This is normal" What is normal about this Never again.

In bad need of a complete update, got stuck in the elevator within minutes of being there, hot tub had enough chemicals in it to burn your eyes and throat, beds were comfortable, but the entire room needed up to date fixtures..including the shower that had a handle about to fall off and a terrible shower head....and after 3 days..never saw house keeping staff..not 1 time!

It’s my first and last time staying here the place is falling apart plus that the are scammers I checked in at Sunday 4:30am and at 11:00am the guy who he claimed he is the owner saying that it’s my check out time and I have asked him check out is going to be Monday at 11:00am and even he said yes to that but I really don’t know what kind of scam is going on here plus I have asked for my receipt and I haven’t got it because the printer is not working please be aware and don’t waste your money here is not worth it
