We stayed four nights at Squire Resort and had a great time except for the breakfast. Clean room, nice bar downstairs, great front desk service with free coffee in the lobby every morning are all wonderful. They also add amenities like a $5 gift card to use in the little arcade, as well as fun activities for families. The only negative was the $20 breakfast buffet, which was terrible in every way. The hostess was rude, the waitress barely came to our table, and the food choices were worse than the free breakfast we had at our hotel in Phoenix. Please improve the breakfast experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The weather was freezing when we arrived so it was perfect walking into a lovely warm room with lights on and relaxing music playing on the tv. Fairy lights twinkling all around and a roaring fire in the main building. Credit was given to use in the games room which was a nice touch. The pool was lovely and the jacuzzi, just bliss. We had breakfast included which was very nice and set us up for the day. Coffee making facilities in the room and free coffee and tea at reception. Would love to come back but stay for longer next time and explore the area more. Great place

Disappointing experience at this resort. First, there was a mix-up with my bill right when we were checking in. I thought they had already charged me half of the stay because that's what my confirmation email said. I booked our rooms months in advance, so I couldn't remember and just went by what the email said. The lady at the front desk was not super nice about it and it turned out that the hadn't charged me, but still figuring out whether the hotel is trying to screw me or not is not the first thing I want to do after a 5 hour drive. Next, they couldn't find adjoining rooms for us or even rooms next to each other. I was traveling with kids, so that was very important. Again, I booked the rooms months in advance and requested adjoining rooms. The front desk lady again was not very nice about it and told me that it's a request, not a guarantee. I could be wrong, but I feel like they should be able to honor a request made months in advance. I ended up having to pay extra to upgrade to rooms next to each other. Then we went to eat at the restaurant and they FORGOT my food. Everyone else at my table got their food, but not me. The staff not only didn't care, they didn't even notice. By the time I flagged someone down to let them know what happened, everyone was almost done with their meal, so it would've been too late for them to make me mine. So guess what?! I didn't get to eat, and again, no one seemed to care. I went down to the bar after I put my kids to bed and got an appetizer, and the bartender at the bar was super nice. One of the only pleasent interactions with a member of staff I had. The waitstaff at the breakfast buffet were also very nice. But that was it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't try the pool, but the arcade is a joke. My kids got bored after 15 minutes of playing. The overall feeling I got from this place is that they know that most of their clientele will not be repeat business, so they don't really care if you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately there are not too many places to stay in this area, but next time we'll definitely go somewhere else.

Close enough to the Grand Canyon if you’re driving. We had to wait to be seated for the breakfast; lady simply ignored my name in the list and got inside people who arrived later. Checking in software wasn’t working, long queues. Parking lot not big enough. Air conditioner extremely noisy. Bathroom too small. Little value for the money.

I booked a weekend here for me and my brother and it was really great from check in to check out. We were helped by Demetris at check in who explained the amenities and everything to us. I enjoyed that they had a lot to do from an indoor and outdoor pool/hot tub, gym, arcade and bowling alley, pub, outdoor area with lawn games, and offered s'mores from 6p-8p. The only bad thing was that everything closed at 10pm. I was not expecting that especially on vacation. However, Mason, offered to start the firepit in the front lobby and Danielle at the front desk offered us great recommendations for when we were leaving to Williams! The room we stayed in was nice and big with a huge bathroom except the AC didn't work well the first night. I would definitely recommend staying here if you plan to visit Grand Canyon. I would just try to do as much during the day to tire yourself out before 10pm.

The housekeeper didn’t do a good job, room was not clean with sand on shower pan and used cups on the floor. I don’t blame the housekeeper didn’t clean the shower pan properly because the shower head is like 200cm height, I cant even get my feet cleaned. We also didn’t get bottle water in our room? The AC didn’t seem working and room is not cooling. I can hear footsteps from people walking upstairs and toilet flashing. During the morning kids were screaming on the hallway. There’s only a half shower door so floor was flooded and really cold when showering, water is warm not hot as well. They served Holiday inn style breakfast that costs $20 per person, it may be better to get McDonald or Starbucks. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly. I do feel like the hotel tried to make our stay pleasant, but I think room needs to be updated and housekeeping needs to improve.

We had a great experience during our two-night stay at this hotel. We booked two connected rooms, each featuring two queen-sized beds. The rooms were well-equipped with a coffee machine and a mini fridge, providing us with everything we needed. I particularly appreciated that the windows could be opened for fresh air.

This hotel is very conveniently located for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon. We also dined at their restaurant, which offered good food and excellent service.

In addition, the hotel provides a complimentary laundry room, which is a nice and convenient feature. The kids enjoyed the arcade room as well. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

I didn’t stay as a guest in a room, so I have no opinion on those, but we did get to enjoy the downstairs bar, & game room amenities. Funny to say but this was one of the highlights of our trip to the Grand Canyon!! Travis was such a joy, he continually had us laughing and made us feel like locals! He went above and beyond making sure we had a great time in the game room. Summer the bartender did an amazing job on our drink orders! She made the best margaritas, and took the time to make sure we were looked after!! We actually stayed at another hotel this visit but the attentiveness that we received while using the game room would definitely make us want to stay at the Squire next time!
