We were so happy with this hotel. Staying in the Grand Canyon is beyond wonderful if you can do it. It’s about a five minute walk to the edge of the canyon. The hotel is situated near the woods and it’s absolutely beautiful. The hotel has recently been renovated and everything was pretty much brand new and very up-to-date technology wise. Very rare for a national Park Lodge! The only bad thing about this lodge is that there is no central sitting area as there are with some of the other lodges. But there is a fantastic food court and gift shop. There were so many food options. In the room itself, there was plenty of space for all of our clothing, shoes, and other items. There was even a TV you too often don’t get in a national Park Lodge. We were thrilled with our stay and we hope to come back someday!

Maswik Lodge is an excellent facility located right inside the park. It has an amazing food court and is very reasonably priced. Even more so when you take your first bites as everything is delicious! The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful place and all the employees are so friendly and take pride in their work!

A truly magnificent place to stay and well located in the heart of the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Maswik Lodge is located within walking distance of Bright Angel and El Tovar Lodges which gives you a lot of food choices. They are also within easy walking distance of some spectacular scenery of the Grand Canyon, especially for those of us that cannot do the more challenging hikes. Easy drive to all the vistas and overlooks within the park as well as a market place and laundry facilities. We had everything we needed within the park which allowed us to focus on enjoying the park experience,

Just got back from three nights at the Maswick Lodge at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It was great! The hotel staff were all very helpful and kind and the amenities were great. The food court had a nice variety of offerings and the pizza in the pizza bar was really good!!
The paperwork says it is a 5 minute walk to the canyon…. But it’s really much faster than that… maybe a 3 minute walk. I highly recommend this comfortable cozy place and I look forward to another visit!

Decided to stay at the Maswik Lodge because why not for the experience. It was convenient to get up early for breakfast and then wait for blue shuttle bus to begin the adventure of hiking and taking pictures around Grand Canyon. It's also walkable to the red shuttle stop as well. Great for dinner too before heading back to the lodge for the night.||||The room was spacious and affordable. There was warm water for shower too to warm up after a day of walking around GCNP.

There are many reasons why I give Maswik Lodge a 10. Pure convenience is one of them. Parking is an issue everywhere but at Maswik. The central services were good. Their pizza place very good. The Maswik is conveniently serviced by the village shuttle and even has a kennel for clients. The rooms are placed in clusters of six in nicely maintained buildings around the large Maswik property. We had a lovely balcony with elk walking past under the trees. It's not always about luxury, but charm, comfort and convenience.

Rooms are the typical hotel room. Nothing fancy. Clean. Have shampoo, soap, towels in the bathrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pizza pub was great! The waitress, Haggy from TX, was super friendly. Breakfast in the cafeteria was good. Not far from the South Rim (0.5 miles). There is a bus to take if you don’t want to or can’t walk. It was perfect for us! Would stay again.

As this was the least expensive lodging option at Grand Canyon National Park and we had read that this part of Maswik was not updated, we weren't expecting much but we were very pleased with our room. It was much larger than standard size and very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable, shower hot, and everything very clean. Although there were no dressers for clothes, there was an enormous amount of counter space and ample hanging area. There was even a balcony though we couldn't use it due to snow. Ample parking, short walk to food court, 10 minutes to rim. Highly recommended.
