Took 5 hours to see my daughter that had a severe UTI. Also had symptoms of dehydration and expecting. Several people came in after with complaining of sore throat and seemingly fine while she continuously got up bc of sickness back and forth to bathroom. She was the absolute last seen, while people that came in even 2 hours after her were seen and discharged before they called her back. I questioned if we could just leave and get results after there so long bc she needed a bed just to lie down. The lady at front looked confused and said she didn’t think that was possible and could not tell me any time she would be seen….Not recommended if you have something serious going on, but for a cough maybe.

So I don’t ever leave reviews for places, but I feel like this place deserves one. I was in the ER last night due to severe side pain and the receptionist got all of my information quick and the nurse got me back at quick as possible and was SO sweet and caring. I believe her name is Janice. I had never been in pain like that before in my life and all of the staff was very professional and very very sweet. Dr. David Elliot was working in the ER this night and he was extremely informative and quick with my diagnosis (kidney stones). His bedside manner was awesome as well. There was actually a woman coming in having a baby at the same time I was supposed to be getting discharged so a lot of the staff got pulled away for that, but they found someone else to discharge me still within a reasonable time which was important to me because I was more than ready to go home. I would give this place a 10/10 every single time! Thanks so much to all the staff working this night, I appreciate you guys!!

In recent years i have come to mistrust the healthcare system. But my experience was vastly changed as this team not only took the time to evaluate me properly...had the patience to listen even as they were at full capacity. And even had an amazingly quick turn around without feeling rushed.

The nurses were very nice and professional, along with the front desk staff. They're the only reason I'm rating this visit a 2. Dr. Wenli Wang needs to work on her bedside manor and rudeness. Was very offended about how she treated me and the attitude she had. I told the nurses because i was visibly upset about being there and being treated like I'm a liar. They told me I'm not the first one to complain about Dr. Wang. Makes me want to go elsewhere for my next ER visit. Was not impressed with her at all.

Nurses are extremely rude, asked for a blanket and the guy asked why do you need a blanket. It took 5 hours for the visit which I know this isn't a far food but that is ridiculous. Stains all on the bed.not to mention the dr came in for a second and left never seen him again.

Yesterday’s experience at SVC was the worst one I’ve had at that particular facility, the nurse practitioner had an awful attitude and pretty much refused me the actual treatment I needed, from now on I will just skip my hometown hospital and go somewhere else! He refused to have an ambulance transport me from that facility to St Vincent’s Birmingham which ended up making my wound worse upon arrival at this facility,on a scale from 1-10 he gets a -10,sorry for the negative feedback but you guys need to know about your employees.

WOW ! ! !
Super Blessed & Super Professional Performance by ALL 👍😇🙏
BTW, I am naming NAMES:
I came in ASVC Emergency Room with a # 8 grade Migraine Headache about 17:30.

Receptionist Devon only took about 5 minutes before she called me forward to check me in.
Very fast chech in.
Before check in was over, Triage Nurse Ariel scooped me up performed all vitals before escorting me thru the double doors to be evaluated. Super Professional Performance by Nurse Ariel 👍 thank You Ariel for your professionalim and speed.
Once in room & before I had time to get comfortable, DR. DARREN WILLIAMS came in to exam me 👍 Dr. Williams understood Migraines very well & was well versed with the four shot combo of Tordol, zofran, dexamethasone & benadryl.
Dr. Williams even enquired how I usually took it, he offered iv or injections.
I said injections. Thank You Dr. Williams for your professionalim & speed.
Less than 5 minutes, Nurse Kristen came onto room with the 4 injection. She administered injection gently and professionally.
Thank You Nurse Kristen for your professionalim and speed.
Without a doubt this seems to be one of the most professionally run & patient oriented Emergency Rooms I have been in
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Emergency Rooms Staff @ ASVC Hospital.
This means SO VERY MUCH to someone who has MIGRAINE HEADACHES on a regular basis.
