I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding care I received during my recent visit to your Emergency Room. I was admitted due to pneumonia, and I was truly impressed by the professionalism, compassion, and efficiency of your staff.

From the moment I arrived, I felt reassured by the warm and attentive team who made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. The medical team was thorough and attentive, explaining everything to me in a clear and caring manner. I especially appreciated how promptly I was seen and treated.

I am deeply grateful for the care I received during a stressful time. Please extend my thanks to the doctors, nurses, and all the staff who played a part in my treatment. It’s clear to me that the staff at UAB St. Vincent’s Chilton goes above and beyond to provide excellent care to patients.

Thank you again for everything.

The worst hospital I ever experienced, If I did not discharge my dad and drive him 10 hours back to Ohio to Cleveland Clinc he probably would be dead! The staff act nice but really do not know what they are doing when it comes to very serious situations. This hospital missed so much and they had him for 7 days with no great plan! Day one here in the new hospital and he is already doing better.

Paid in full in cash at visit and got a $400+ bill months later, no one will answer the phone - the robot says it's 'after hours' with no way to leave a message during the middle of the day. Friendly people, good atmosphere - sketchy billing at best.

This is a very nice facility 😁. Their staff is outstanding! The nurses that treated my sister, Lauren and Jenna were amazing! They have a volunteer named Myra. Who greets you and you and make sure you feel very comfortable. She even fixed me a cup of coffee. Everything is VERY COVID Friendly. The bathrooms are clean! They are a notch higher than what I'm used. The soap even makes you feel like you're really washing your hands not treating them with sandpaper.

I really didn't know what to expect since I usually get my services in Prattville, Montgomery, or Birmingham. But this was the place that my sister wanted to go since Dr Benker, who had treated her before. I'm so happy that they have this new facility so that people have another option.😁
If you like my review please give me a thumbs up and a comment 😘

Visited the Emergency Department a few days ago. My wife had a sudden and severe headache. She could hardly walk or talk. Doctor just brushed us off and gave her a shot. I pressed for a CT scan to rule out other things and he seemed offended that I would even ask. Coming fiercely in the room asking what changed like we were children. Why wouldn’t you take every measure to rule out things rather than assuming it a headache by looking at her? The other staff were amazing that’s where the 3 stars come in.

The rehabilitation division of hospital is outstanding. Extremely professional staff by explaining critical medical details of injury, and exemplifying an encouraging, professional and positive environment. Would recommend the facility as a whole to anyone. We are blessed to have this faculty and service in our community! Thank you.

Came to the ER this morning with my husband because he is in alot of pain, sitting waiting for a while now, I got out of the room to see if I can get a nurse or a doctor, finally saw one and asked her find someone because my husband's pain was getting worse, she never did, we called another one and she was rude and acting like we were bothering her. I worked in Healthcare and that is how you treat your patients, some of these nurses need to have a lesson in beside manner. People come to you for help and that's why you are in this field, if you act like people bugging you, find a different job that doesn't involve people

I have migraines that give me stroke like symptoms. I've been told that if they seem different than normal, that I should go to the ER to make sure it's not anything else. I went to St Vincent and the doctor acted like I was wasting his time. He asked several times if I had smoked weed. I had given a urine sample but he showed no interest in checking it. He barely spent 10 minutes with me and sent me home. They only had one other patient while i was there. Next time , I'll just go to a different hospital. The rest of the nurses and staff were great. I wish I could rate them separately.
