Though I've been to Madeline Island several times, this was my first time actually staying on the Island, and I have to say Ferry Landing Suites exceeded my expectations! The rooms are clean and very spacious and the location is amazing. You are within walking distance to the "downtown" which has quaint shops and some fantastic dining options. I will definitely be staying at the Ferry Landing Suites the next time I visit the Island.

Love this place! I've been staying at Ferry Landing Suites on Madeline Island for 10 years! Ive stayed in every unit. You truly cannot beat how close this location is to everything and the added bonus filtered lake view is so great! Overall units are spacious, clean, decorated beautifully and priced very reasonably.

I stayed at the Ferry Landing Suites this summer after the new owners made significant updates. The Suites are tastefully decorated, very clean, and well-appointed. Additionally, they are in the perfect location - walking distance to everything in downtown La Pointe and a short drive to Big Bay State park.

Loved our time here! We stayed in the upstairs unit, it's very cozy and you can see the shore from the windows! The location is amazing, everywhere you'll want to go is within walking distance!

My Girlfriend and I wanted to take a vacation on Madeline Island but we didn't quite know where to stay. I found this online and booked it, not quite knowing what to expect. I was blown away when we arrived; the price was reasonable but the lodgings were magnificent, after we were there for a few hours, we felt right at home. The Beach House was just a treat, with a apartment/house feel, it felt more like staying at a vacation home than a hotel, which added to our trip up to the Island. However, with the home style feel, you must wash the dishes but there was a dishwasher available and who wouldn't clean up after themselves?||||As wonderful as the place was, we couldn't stay inside all day; the property is within walking distance of most of La Pointe's offerings, a coffee shop, general store, bar,and restaurants are all closer than a quarter mile, most within 100 yards. ||||The perfect place for a romantic getaway! We are already planning to come again next year.

There is a reason that they don’t show you a picture of the bathroom! It’s terrible! The bed was not very comfortable either and you can hear the people in the unit above walking around. It was not up to our standards of cleanliness and the management asks you to strip the bed. No fresh towels either for a four night stay. The location was fun. We have stayed in several cabins on the island in the past 15 years. This was our least favorite. I would never rent it again!
