Since moving here recently, I have been waiting for this place to re-open. Apparently, they needed to jump through some hoops with the municipality forcing them to close for about a year. Anyway, it was definitely worth the wait. I had only ever seen mofongo on TV, so I had to try that first. It lived up to the hype for sure. It was in a buttery sauce, so it was not dry. Don't even trip (J-C)! I knew to get rice, too because I've had plenty of Cuban food. So far, I'm thinking Puerto Rican food has the edge, though. Their pulled pork and crispy fried pork was, double c, succulent. Whenever I had a bite of rice and the sautéed onions within it, along with the pulled pork, flavor bombs were blasting off in my scrambled mind. ¡Que Rico! Maybe that's redundant when referring to Puerto Rican food. Too bad, I'm going double Rico on ya. Friendly chef and fast service. The place was clean and there was Salsa music, too. All around Rico, to be sure.

It's a small restaurant with only about 5 tables, but they were almost all full~ a good sign in my books. And the staff were happy, helpful and friendly people! We took carry out for our anniversary since it's just been diagnosed with pneumonia and take didn't want to spoil anyone's dining experience with my coughing. We got the shrimp. And I can honestly say in all my way too many years, I've never had better tasting shrimp in my life. We also got the fried plantains which brought us right back to Bonaire which we had just left. And as an anniversary gift, we were given a delicious dessert on the house. We'll definitely be back!

We had just seen an ad on Facebook for a special of the day drink after wanting to go there for a few days and we were NOT disappointed! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly & welcoming, the prices are very reasonable and the food is DELICIOUS! We will be back, no doubt!
Great cute little date spot to eat but also quick enough to run in and out within 10-15 minutes

This morning I had the pleasure of dining at Goly & Eve, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel like family. The customer service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the meal.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh my goodness, the flavors! Goly & Eve serves up authentic Puerto Rican cuisine that took me straight back to the streets of San Juan. Our plates were bursting with vibrant spices and fresh ingredients, transporting me to the sunny shores of the Caribbean with every bite. It’s been years since I’ve tasted flavors like this in our area, and I’m beyond grateful to have discovered this gem 👏🏻.

Whether you’re craving a taste of Puerto Rico or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, I cannot recommend Goly & Eve highly enough. From the delectable food to the exceptional service, this restaurant truly deserves every one of its five stars. I can’t wait to return again. They have now gained us as repeating customers 🤩

This little restaurant is my wife's favorite for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine in Appleton. BTW, she was born in Agudilla, Puerto Rico. Goly & Eve Puerto Rican Kitchen is is a no-frills little eatery that focuses on dishing out generous portions of the exact same food you'd find in any restaurant on the island. I promise you'll not find better food anywhere, any time.
