We loved Long Lake Escape and hope to return!! The hosts were very responsive and accomodating and have a well supplied cabin. Our group of 6 adults and 7 kids had plenty of space and so much to keep us busy. The kids loved the kayaks and the game room. We all loved the hot tub! Looking forward to planning our visit for next year!!

We had a great time. Worth every penny. My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with family and friends. Divided up visitors throughout the week so there would not be to many of us at a time. The first couple of days were hectic with coming and going, due to or grandson's wedding in Fremont. This lake house worked great for a mini honeymoon for them. We now share the Anniversary date, sweet. Family came from Alaska, IL, Waupaca and big Wild Rose! I think the pontoon went out only 4 times, but it was great to have. We had some that the stairs would have been too much, so we drove them to the boat landing by car so they could get on and off the pontoon. The younger crowd absolutely enjoyed the jet ski and paddle boards. With jobs and other commitments, not all local family members could stay overnight. We did not need all the beds, but plenty beds for large groups. Very comfortable beds everyone said. Communication was great.

I’d really like to give this place a bad review to keep others away, but that would be totally unfair. 😉 Long Lake Escape is a beautiful house on a beautiful lake. Our 3 generational family group had a wonderful week. The house was sparkling clean, everything in good working order, well appointed with kitchen equipment, entertainment options, and lake gear. Our toddler had his own nursery and the other 8 of us had plenty of room to spread out. Communication was good both before check-in and while we were there. Highly recommend Long Lake Escape.

Our multi-generational family of 13 spent a week at Long Lake Escape. The home was stocked with amenities, super clean and loads of space to spread out. The layout of the home and super smart use of space was prefect for a large group- we could have had many more people with us and still felt comfortable.

The pool table, dart board, hot tub, ping pong table all provided hours of fun for the kids and grown ups alike.

The outdoor space options were amazing, beautiful views of the water and a sunset every night. The lake was super clean- we utilized the kayaks, SUPs, fished, boated and swam.

Communication was spot on, and the home felt welcoming from the very start. I would suggest renting this home to anyone with a large group- families, friends, I can't imagine anyone not falling in love with the location and the home.

We enjoyed our annual family reunion with kids and grandkids at Long Lake Escape. Family members travelled from Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois (ages 7 to 76). The accommodations are exceptional: clean, well maintained rooms, plenty of comfortable beds for 17, kitchen is spacious and well stocked, house décor is beautiful, deck and patio overlooking Long Lake is breathtaking, ample parking, nice large fire pit, two refrigerators and two pairs of washers/driers, and plenty of game tables inside to entertain guests of all ages. We enjoyed swimming in the lake with clear water and sandy bottom and evening rides on the pontoon boat. Property owner promptly answered our phone calls. We loved the house and location so much that we booked it again for next year.

Beautiful lake house, beautiful lake! This house has everything you need or could dream of for a vacation escape. Plenty of room and rooms, quality home finishes throughout. Cannot say enough about the interior and exterior decor and attention to detail…from the linens to the kitchen supplies to the lake toys, a raft off the pier and all the firewood cut and split for great times around the fire pit. The lake is sparkling, the house was sparkling! Everything listed in the description is accurate plus lots more. Five star rating for five star vacation home.

As the first group to stay at Long Lake Escape, it was a wonderful experience. Everything was clean and nice and the hosts were accommodating to check-in time. Before my group was even halfway through our stay, there was already discussion of coming back for another stay at Long Lake Escape. I hope we are actually able to make that happen, maybe during a little warmer weather!

We went for a our family Christmas. 1st time doing this, so wasnt sure what we would/would not need! 1st off--Beautiful home!! Hosy was amazing. Communication was always fast and thorough.
Plenty of room for a large family/gathering. Kitchen has everything you need. (Bowls, cookie sheets, Plates, cups, knife block, coffee pot, silverware, pots/pans.) You really do not need to bring anything but some quart/gallon baggies and left over/ take home Tupperware. Only other thing was with a large group-- 4 slice toaster would be great!! Freezer space is tricky if you have a large group.
Bedrooms were great-loved they also night lights in them for the kiddos, and a crib.
Garage set up with the game tables is very nice. Good space. Hot tub was nice. Seats 3- 4 comfortably. We went in winter-- the hose to refill the hot tub to the required water level was froze, so we just thawed the hose in a bathtub of hot water.
Fireplace is nice. Smoke detectors work well, and often🤣😬 could use a small hatchet to make kindling for starting the fires. The deck/patio is a very nice.
Overall, beautiful space and decorated so nice for the holidays!
We are hoping to do a summer vaca in 2024 here!
