Chris was a very friendly and helpful guide. We did an evening run for Salmon out of Milwaukee and it was a great trip. He's got all the gear and experience to help you have a successful trip. Normally he runs out of Sturgeon Bay but we were lucky to catch him this week in Milwaukee! Will definitely be booking with again!

We had a great time! I brought my gf on this trip and she a beginner in the ice fishing world. Guide Chris sat with her for over an hour and taught her all the techniques she needed to know to catch her first whitefish! We were even lucky enough to get a trophy 13.5 inch yellow porch before we left! The area is a great area for touring as well. When you leave Door County, you're already planning your next trip back!

I’ve been on several charters and what I enjoy the most is not the fact we’ve never been skunked but the amount of knowledge we’ve gained. Chris is extremely generous with the knowledge he has spent a lifetime acquiring. I can’t wait to book my next trip. Whether we catch or not I know it will be a great day on the water.

Fat Nancy Sport fishing is a great experience. Captain Chris made me very comfortable on his boat being a beginner. He knew where to find the fish &!told some funny jokes. 12/10 would do again!

I highly recommend fishing Lake Michigan for Salmon and Trout with Captain Chris. He is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and has first-class equipment and a very nice boat. My friends and I had a great time and have already started cooking the delicious fish we caught!

Great day on Sturgeon Bay with Captain Chris. He put us on the fish and we limited out. Chris was great with my son who never fished for walleyes before. Chris taught my son all the techniques on how to land the walleye in the boat. I will be booking another trip with him in the fall.

Wanted to write a review, a bit late but better than never. Myself along with a friend did a charter with Captain Chris from Fat Nancy Sport Fishing back in the fall of 2020. This is one of many fishing charters i've done on the great lakes. Most people probably judge their fishing trip by how many fish are caught which definetly helps. Well I've learned that you don't always catch a lot of fish and have learned to appreciate the overall trip, captain, the trainquility, and the boats equipment, etc. But we actually caught a ton of fish on this trip. I was initially impressed by the spanking brand new Ranger fishing boat that awaited us, it had a pretty awesome paint job that reminded me of a custom Harley. As soon as we hopped on I started seeing all the bells and whistles, sweet radar, cup holders, plenty of deck space in front and back, comfortable seating, huge motor, and friendly captain. Captain Chris told us he is on top of the intel on hotspots and we had to head out 11 miles to the current hotspot. The boat seemed to just glide over the water as we arrived. Before captain Chris had half of the fishing poles setup we started catching fish, we caught 3 fish with just half of the boats fishing poles and eventually he was able to get the other poles setup. We trolled up and down this area and it seemed to good to be true as one after another we kept catching fish; pike, bass, and perch. The boat had a nice livewell that filled from the lake water. Aside from all the fish we caught (13) captain Chris was friendly, great convos and company. Will be booking my next lake michigan charters through Fat Nancy Charter from now on.

Chris is awesome! He is by far the best guide around that we have fished with. Not only does he help you catch fish but also takes the time to teach you how to do it on your own. Very personable and knowledgeable.
