My husband and I took a guided snowshoeing hike with Teri, and loved every minute of it! Teri was a wonderful host and guide, pointing out things about the area, including history, natural features, and fun things to see and explore. We love this area and left loving it even more. The snowshoeing was fun and Teri made sure to explain everything really well for us beginners. Highly recommended - we’re looking forward to returning for a summer tour!

We stayed at The Mighty Pine in early June and had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful and at night we could see fireflies and hear the wildlife noises down around the lake. Two Sandhill Cranes, the neighbors, came to visit us and check out our little pup. My daughter (3) loved to watch them walk around. The area is gorgeous, surrounded by fields with a lovely lake in view through the trees.

The cabin is very accommodating and unique. The bed was large enough for my family of three and extremely comfortable. It was so nice to get away and have some peace and quiet from our busy life. I love the layout and tiny details throuout the place. My husband and I are in the process of building out future house and have obtained a lot of inspiration while being here!

The patio is really nice with a grill and comfortable seating. The string lights give it a nice ambiance. We really loved being out side with the fire going in the center of the table!! (Not sure about what that would be called)

I'd love to say something about the sauna, but we didn't use it because of our daughter and pup, but we did check it out and it's really pretty and enticing!

Marty has provided a bunch of pamphlets of things to do and places to go in the surrounding areas, which will be very helpful to anyone going out to eat or see the sights.

Marty was also very quick to answer an questions I had during my stay and I never felt uncomfortable when needing to send a message. He's very kind and so generous and must have a giving heart to be able to create something this wonderful for others to enjoy.

I would recommend staying here, through any season, but especially through the summer as a place to get away and have some peace and quiet with a good sprinkle of wildlife/country life.

A great escape tucked away among hills and farms!
We rented both units for a family getaway Memorial Day weekend. Marty was very accommodating and welcoming. Both units are uniquely decorated. They did such a fantastic job with the space that I forgot I was in a “tiny home”! We came here to unwind and relax and we did just that! We loved sitting outside enjoying the view of the pond, watching birds and other wildlife. We spent our evenings grilling, sitting by the fire and playing games. Even the dogs enjoyed running around and hanging out on the patios! The units are equipped with lots of amenities including board games, Netflix, Bluetooth speakers, Alexa and charging stations.
If you need to go into town there’s Walmart, a few fast food places, a great butcher shop and a drive-in (movies).
This tranquil Airbnb is close to all attractions. I highly recommend!

My husband and I had such a great time on the UTV ride. Marty and Teri were great guides and knew a lot about the area. They were very hospitable, down to earth, but also entertaining! The views were gorgeous! The ride was very comfortable. it was great to get outside during a Wisconsin winter!

We really enjoyed our time touring the beautiful Driftless Area with Teri and Marty. The ATV allows one to see so much and our itinerary was personalized and packed full of special spots. Marty is also a great narrator and so full of knowledge and information. When in the Area -- we will book a tour with them again!

We can't say enough about Ridge and Valley Tours. We truly enjoyed our visit to Ithaca, WI. This Airbnb is located in the driftless zone in the heart of Richland County. There is something for everyone, whether winter or summer. We visited the weekend of January 22nd as the countryside was blanketed in four inches of beautiful white snow. Stephanie spent the day snowshoeing and exploring Richland Center and surrounding area while I spent the day ice fishing Petenwell Lake (just over an hour's drive from our cabin). There are a number of other lakes that I would love to try. There is so much to do in this area (wineries, breweries, hiking trails, farms, beautiful countryside, UTV rides, etc. ). There are a multitude of small towns in the area. However, it is an easy and scenic drive to Madison or LaCrosse. We couldn't do everything the area as to offer in just our weekend visit.

Our host, Marty and Teri, were spectacular. They are locals, both growing up in this beautiful area. They are both extremely knowledgeable of the area and are both great storytellers. We were captivated and couldn't wait for the next story and the laughs that went with it. The lodging that they provide is awesome. They have two cabins (The Walnut and The Pine) as well as a beautiful upstairs apartment in their 100-year-old farm house. We stayed in the Walnut as the Pine is not quite ready for guest. We went to bed to the moon-drenched landscape and awoke to the beautiful farm fields and frozen wetland area. This is a hidden gem that allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of today's world. Simply put, this is just plain good old-fashioned, Midwestern, country living! It is only a three-hour drive from the Milwaukee as well as the Illinois boarder. We can't wait for our next visit. We are already planning a trip for this summer but hope to get back again yet this winter. We are looking forward to our next visit.
