This is a great new revamp of the old Splash Mountain. I really liked the animatronics, and the crocodile was really good. There were some broken, and you WILL get wet. We bought ponchos that are quite expensive so make sure to keep them for your next trip. Great ride!

I love Tiana. She's literally one of my favorite princesses. Seeing this ride for the first time in person was mind blowing. I loved the colors and scenery surrounding it. You'll definitely get soaked though so make sure you buy a poncho.

I rode DL Tiana’s Bayou Adventure twice in person on October 23 during CM test and again on November 5th during CM/Magic Key previews. So, most Splash Mountain fans don’t have too.

This is considered one of the worst rethemed attractions ever made by current Disney.
It is lazy, cheap, rushed, and lacks soul as well as Disney Magic.

I highly do not recommend this attraction at Disneyland. The original Splash Mountain was destroyed and rethemed into this abomination of an log flume ride! What was once an epic, iconic, and beloved attraction in Disneyland was turned into an absolute abysmal ride! Those who keep defending this horrible retheme are coping too much.

DL TBA Pros:
- Original DL Splash infrastructure, track layout, and drops.
- Advanced Audio-Animatronics characters.
- Frogs are cute and charming.

DL TBA Cons:
- Convoluted and boring storyline.
- Many empty dark spaces with “bayou” foliage.
- Boring songs and music.
- Lack of true Disney Magic.
- Not iconic and not an instant classic.
- Soulless
- Constant breakdowns
- Post-Final Drop section has less hidden speakers, no music, only ambience, and very dark at night. It used to be lit with hurricane lanterns.
- Reused altered Splash Mountain set pieces, but bastardized and mostly destroyed reused set pieces.
- The former Laughin’ Place scene with open spaces where you can see Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, and the old Dog on the spinning boat was enclosed with a wall and now a frog playing a xylophone in that space. The cave window where you can see the dip drop from the translation from the How Do You Do scene to the Laughin’ Place is also enclosed with a wall.
- Lacks tension and suspense during the final lift.
- No villain and no conflict.
- Mama Odie is a Bayou Godmother in TBA and no longer a Voodoo Priestess.
- A C-ticket type attraction on a E-ticket type thrill log flume attraction.
- It is a one and done thing if you ride this abomination in person at least once.
- No catchy iconic Disney earworm songs
- TBA doesn’t do justice to the Princess and the Frog movie.
- Ugly exterior that doesn’t look like an actual bayou in Louisiana.
- There are no actual mountains in Louisiana.
- The former rustic iconic Splash Mountain barn entrance was turned into a gross yellow and green Tiana’s Foods office.
- Horrid propaganda-like murals on the exterior building by the entrance and the walls were originally rockwork walls.
- The exterior queue is awful and tried too hard to be a garden picket.
- Most trees and shrubs were cut down and there are less trees for shade on the exterior queue line area for DL TBA.
- The interior queue of DL TBA is really poorly themed and the salt mine themed queue is not very good.
- The Brer Rabbit window in the queue near the ride station was covered up.
- The ride photos are outside now by the former Professor Barnaby Owl building and the former ride photo room is an empty space.
- Tiana and Louis don’t do much, they just talk and swing their arms most of the time. They don’t even sing the songs until the lackluster Special Spice finale song.
- Poorly thought-out scenes in the attraction.
- Poor repetitive dialogue from Tiana, Mama Odie, and Louis.
- Too many screens that replaced highly-detailed and hand sculpted concrete three-dimensional set pieces and props.
- Cheap critter Audio-Animatronics with repetitive movements.
- No true homage to Splash Mountain and the Brers.
- Only a total of 42 audio-animatronics compare to the once vast total of 103 audio-animatronic animal characters including the Brers in the former original Splash Mountain.

- Imagineers didn’t fully watch Princess and the Frog when creating this terrible retheme.
- True loss of an iconic, beloved, and quintessential Disneyland attraction which was Splash Mountain.
- TBA is not made out of love and passion, it’s true purpose was to destroy Splash Mountain and it was born out of hatred and knee-jerk reaction in 2020.

Both DL and MK TBA sums up current Disney in a nutshell.

Originally called Splash Mountain, the upgrade improved some animatronics but the water die is basically the same rethemed. Personally I liked the old Brer Fox, Rabbit and Bear version.

Tiana’s Bayou is a great ride. Definitely needs more adjustments. The ride is fresh overall, plenty of great animatronics (even though they shut down every 4 seconds) and the music in the bayou is extremely catchy. It's just sad to not see Dr. Facilier in the ride. It would've made it a lot more fun. Definitely different from Splash Mountain, but it's a good fit. Definitely did get a lot more wet. 🐸

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a magical and beautifully designed ride that brings the charm and heart of The Princess and the Frog to life! 🌸🎺 The theming is absolutely incredible — from the lush bayou setting to the vibrant colors and lively music, you feel like you've stepped right into New Orleans. The attention to detail is amazing — the fireflies, moss-covered trees, and the scent of the bayou create a fully immersive experience.

The ride itself is super fun! It's a log flume ride with a thrilling drop at the end that gives you just the right amount of excitement without being too intense. 🌊🚤 The animatronics of Tiana, Louis, and the rest of the characters are top-notch — the movements are so fluid and lifelike. Plus, the soundtrack featuring jazzy New Orleans tunes keeps the energy up throughout the ride. 🎶💃

The queue is also well-themed, with interactive elements that help pass the time. Even if the line is long, the atmosphere makes it feel shorter. And yes — you might get a little wet on the final drop, but that’s part of the fun! 😆

Overall, Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a perfect mix of Disney magic, heartwarming storytelling, and excitement. It’s a must-do for any Disney fan, and it adds such a refreshing and culturally rich experience to the park. 🌟🦢👑

Fun ride with great animintronics, some might miss the nostalgia of Splash Mountain, but overall this ride is pretty long and mixes good storytelling with exhilarating drops. The final drop is not for the faint of heart! You will get wet!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is, without a doubt, the most underwhelming Disney attraction I have ever experienced. It replaced what was arguably the greatest theme park ride ever made, and the result is a complete disappointment.

To be fair, The Princess and the Frog is a fantastic movie, and the animatronics in this ride are truly impressive. In fact, they are the only reason I’m giving this ride a single star. Unfortunately, every other aspect—storytelling, music, and overall experience—falls completely flat.

The original Splash Mountain had a compelling narrative, and every song was a catchy, memorable tune that stayed with you throughout the day. It was a highlight of any Disneyland trip. I’ll never forget the day I rode Splash Mountain over a dozen times when I was 12—an experience that defined my love for Disney attractions.

By contrast, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a complete letdown. Despite having a great source material and state-of-the-art animatronics, Disney opted for a storyline that barely connects with the movie, omitting some of its best songs entirely. The few that did make it into the ride have been remixed into strange, unrecognizable versions that lack the magic of the original soundtrack. A straightforward adaptation of the movie would have made for a much stronger experience.

I tend to be pretty positive, and I’ve even enjoyed Stitch’s Great Escape and other less-beloved attractions, but this ride is truly awful. It lacks charm, energy, and any real sense of adventure.

As I write this, I’m sitting in front of the ride on a perfectly fine day, and it has a five-minute wait. The last time I was here when Splash Mountain was still open, it had a two-hour wait—before its closure was even announced. That alone speaks volumes.

Simply put, nobody likes this ride.
