I had the turkey melt with a side of potato salad. The sandwich wasn't very good, it was quite bland. I'm pretty sure that the potato salad is from Smith's, which tastes good, but was pretty obvious. The waitress was nice enough, but we just went to the counter to pay because she never brought the check over.

Good food, friendly and fast service and at a fair price can all be found here at the Stage Stop Cafe. In fact, this is my go to place for breakfast especially if I'm with a big group of friends and they always accommodate us with a smile and are even willing to split our checks. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they offer some tasty dishes and for me, that would be their corned beef hash and eggs or their taco omelette. Be sure to look around the dining area as there are all kinds of cool historic things hanging on the walls, just like the rest of the casino. Also, be sure to go downstairs to use the restrooms as they have even more stuff there.

Menu has a lot of choices from burgers, pasta, steaks, breakfast, and tons more. We opted for breakfast for dinner! Service was outstanding, and the servers never let our drinks get empty! We left full and satisfied!!!

When I was a kid, we had breakfast here every Sunday. This is back when the Tonopah Station was in better shape, all around. Now, a lot is broken, dusty, or just dirty all over the hotel & casino, and inside feels like a sad memory. This goes for the Cafe also.
This was once a decent place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Over the years, the quality has gone decidedly downhill. The decor is as tired & outdated as the rest of the casino. The Cafe staff are all prompt, friendly, and helpful. There's never a wait to be seated. Food rarely takes long to come out of the kitchen and is plenty affordable. But the food just isn't the same. I keep trying to like this place again, but no matter what time of day I eat there or what I order, it's disappointing. I even stopped in for a slice of pie when I had a sweet tooth one night. As simple as it should be, even that was lacking.

Loved this place. The food was excellent as well as the service. The atmosphere is old timey and pleasant. My wife and I went for breakfast and it was some of the best breakfast I've ever had. I tried the breakfast at the Mizpah before and this blew it out of the water.

As with most places in Tonopah the service may take a minute but the staff is pretty nice to deal with so makes up for it. Food at least is a decent variety and not bad and portions are decent as well.

My go to breakfast spot when in Tonopah semi-annually. I always get the Ground Round Steak and Eggs, Medium Rare, hashbrowns and white toast (pictured) which is spot on and classic diner fare. The service is good and friendly, though can be slow when busy.

Update 4/7/24: Tried the corned beef hash and eggs breakfast on one of the days I visited this time, was pretty good. Strangely, both days only had grape jelly for my toast.

Cute cafe style resturant! Food was good and plentiful! Had to walk through a smoke filled casino. Don't worry it's a small casino! Nice place to stop and take a break between Las Vegas and Reno!
