Can't say enough positive things about Barry and Nevada Adventure Rentals. Three lifelong friends that have been dirt biking together since our teens were finally able to coordinate an epic off-road adventure in our 'mature' years and Barry was instrumental in seeing this come to fruition. We ended up renting two of his brand new KTM 890R bikes including all the gear we would need for the trip.

Our buddy in Nevada coordinated with Barry to set us up with a package so complete that all we had to do was show up and ride. Brand name riding gear was newer, clean and in good shape. We had in-helmet communication systems and top of the line Garmin GPS units included. Barry helped out with routing our adventure and even had a hand in meal preparation supplying us with dehydrated meals which turned out to be convenient and quite tasty actually.

We definitely put the bikes and gear through their paces and when we returned we found that Barry was quite forgiving about what was considered wear and tear. Overall we found Barry to be exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable about his product, and cares about making the customer’s experience the best it can be. It’s obvious that he’s very passionate about what he does and the services he sells. But more than that, he doesn’t just sell a product he actually lives it, and that makes the difference.

Could not have had a better experience. From the initial phone call to discuss options throughout the rental process and return the entire process was professional and courteous. Fantastic store with lots of additional products if necessary. Well maintained and top quality equipment. Bike made the entire trip perfect. Reno to Monterey up to Sacramento, Tahoe back to Reno.

Amazing experience! The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I talked with Ernest there for over an hour about various hobbies we had in common. I had a day off from work in Reno and they provided all the extra riding gear I needed. They even had recommendations of where to ride. The KTM 1090 that I rented was in pristine condition.

They had everything I needed for an adventure motorcycle ride. Was in Reno and wanted to do some dual sport riding in the mountains but my bike was back in Missouri. Rented a bike and all the equipment from them. They had everything needed and was quality equipment, comfortable not cheap gear. The best part was the KTM, what an awesome bike, and will probably buy one now. Some awesome riding nearby.

It was so nice to deal with Barry the owner who has as much riding experience as you need to have whatever kind of fun you want.... Barry not only has the best lineup of rental models but has all the gear and the best knowledge of the area! He doesn't hassle you and is a great sport... I cannot recommend Nevada Adventure Rentals enough to be able to ride this amazing and gorgeous area if you can't otherwise. I don't come here for the motorcycle and ATV rentals which I'm sure are great. What a lot of people don't know is Nevada Adventure Rentals is a full-service, very well-equipped rock climbing shop. Every climber knows we don't have anything close to a real climbing shop in Reno. Well, this is it! . This store puts REI to shame. Barry, the owner has almost everything you need and can order almost anything he doesn't have. He also has a lot of camping supplies for sale and rent. If you're a climber make sure to support this place!

Outstanding service, value, and equipment. You could not find a better way to spend $180 in reno. We rented 3 different dirt bikes to get a feel for the each. Each bike was well equipped for adventure with durability upgrades, had ZERO mechanical or drivability issues, and included panniers or some type of bag as applicable to the bikes capabilities. We didnt have any riding gear, but no big deal because rentals included some VERY good riding gear as well. I anticipated some schweaty ol used up gear but everything we were issued was in great condition and felt very protective.
We hit Moon Rocks OHV area, at their recommendation, where a variety of terrain provided suitable challenges for everyone in our party. Couldn’t be happier with our day out! It was a total blast. THANK YOU NAR! -also I love KTM now.
