Angela was sent from Heaven! She was so sweet! She cooked for us for breakfast and dinner for my 40th bday in Tahoe and made everything so special and delicious. Their were 6 of us and all of us said it was the best breakfast and best dinner we had ever had. I will never forget it! Thank you so much Angela!
Also, I have to say… I’ve had hundreds of crème brûlée and hers was hands down, by far THE BEST!

Hired Angela while on vacation in Lake Tahoe and had an amazing experience. She had so many wonderful choices it was hard to pick a favorite. Loved the lump crab cakes with a delightful aioli. Our main course was Osso Bucco over the best polenta ive ever had. We were all so full we didn’t think we could eat anymore until she brought out the Crème Brûlée which we devoured. Were a talkative group but there were no words, just eating. Next trip to Tahoe the only thing well change is having Angela over more.

Angela was amazing from arrival to clean up. We selected a surf and turf menu, appetizers and desserts to compliment and every bite was incredible. Highly recommend.

Let me start by just saying MAGNIFICO!
We were in Lake Tahoe celebrating a friends 60th birthday and for our last night there we decided to hire someone to cook our farewell meal. I am SOOOO glad we did. Angela got there early to ensure that our meal would be served on time. She announce every entre and explained what it was made with (which I personal loved). The table was beautifully set and the food was DELICIOUS. I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that she was able to accommodate us with some last minute changes which was desert. Thank goodness she was able to do so because it was the best I've ever had (see picture). Angela is very personable and she makes you feel like you've known her for a lifetime. I would highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for quality service and GREAT FOOD.

I don't do reviews for the most part. In this case, I wasn't even the one paying, but I felt I had to post a review. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a private dinner with friends on a recent trip to Tahoe, catered by Enlightened Palate. The theme for the cuisine was Hawaiian, and I was truly impressed at the flavors on my plate. One of our party was vegan, and she loved how tasty her entree was.
Angela was unfailingly pleasant, and the timing of moving from apps to mains was seamless. And dessert was also a standout. The chocolate mousse with a hint of Grand Marnier was awesome.
All this goes to say that it was like Babbette's Feast or something. The food and the service made the whole evening on catching up with friends just that much more special.

It was so fabulous, I wish I could do this every week. We contacted Angela with short notice and she was super busy but she made time to work with me and to get a menu set up, shop and provide us with a fabulous end of vacation dinner. We were so engaged with the food not one of us thought to take pictures. Most of our group is vegetarian and we were able to come up with a nice menu of seafood options.

She does some prep before she arrives and when she walked through the door I could already smell how wonderful it was. She makes sure that the table and eating areas are set and well stocked. And she really does clean while she is cooking so there is so little to do.

We started with stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes which everyone loved. We had a great salad with all fresh ingredients. The Seabass was cooked to perfection. And everyone went quiet as they consumed the delicious Banana Foster.

The only thing I would change is to save up more money so I could have this wonderful experience on the day of arrival and the day of departure.

We hired Angela for a private breakfast and dinner. Every, single item was absolutely incredible, decadent and well planned out. My husband and I are gluten free…she was very knowledgeable, kind and personable. I would absolutely hire her again!!
