I went for a 1 1/2 hour trail ride today with my daughter. The guides did an excellent job. The horses were well behaved and sweet. It was a beautiful ride with high views over Lake Tahoe. They have helmets available for people to borrow and also waist packs to use. There are clean restrooms at the stable. They help you on and off your horse. Highly recommend!

I’m a little biased because I worked at these stables 20 years ago, but it is still a lovely local, family run business. I had a wonderful visit on my recent trip to Tahoe. My two kids did short pony rides with two very nice guides, Taylor and Roan. The horses are very well cared for, the views are spectacular. If you have a larger group, I highly recommend booking a dinner ride. Otherwise, a ride anytime of day is nice.

We rode Montana and Katie, they were smooth rides and we're so calm. Highly recommend this place. Sydney was our guide and she helped us with tips and pointers for when we went down steep slopes. She even got off her horse to take pictures for us. Best birthday gift ever ❤️

Great experience. Relaxing tour through the woods to Lake Tahoe. Staff are very attentive and pay close attention to their customers and their horses. Horses are very well trained and calm. It was easy to make a reservation over the phone. Cash is preferred method of payment as it's a small family business and credit card fees take a bite. Be sure to tip your guide, they work hard to provide an exceptional experience.

I'm going to state upfront that I am not a horse expert. That being said, the horses here are healthy, happy, gentle, and a great time was had by girl scouts troop 81 today. The guides were kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I highly recommend this for anyone.
