This was a bucket list activity and going in, my expectations were very high but somehow, they were still exceeded. The staff was professional and personable, making jokes, telling stories, answering questions, etc. It's very clear they really enjoy what they do. Watching them get the balloons ready was fascinating and actually flying was so cool. I always felt very safe and the views were unbelievable. Sedona is the perfect place to do this IMO. I got so many amazing photos.

I would recommend wearing a hat as the flame can get hot on your scalp. Also wear layers- it'll be cold on the ground when waiting for the balloon to be ready but you'll get warm when you go up and are close to the flame.

After the flight, they take you to a nice lookout spot and hand out mimosas to everyone. You can also get just juice or just champagne.

I'd highly recommend this company. It's a reasonable price for an unforgettable experience.

Wow! That’s all I can say. What an incredible once in a lifetime adventure. Weather wasn’t on our side the day we originally booked for, but Red Rock was so accommodating and made rescheduling so easy. The day we flew was a crystal clear morning with stunning views, a light wind and sun for days! Our Pilot Mark F was funny, engaging and informative. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and got to have as perfect of a few as possible. Please add this to your list of things to do. wear closed toed shoes and dress in layers. The ground is cool but the balloon is hot.

I recently had the incredible experience of a sunrise hot air balloon ride in Sedona, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my travels! From the moment we arrived, the exceptional crew made us feel welcomed and excited for the adventure ahead. Safety was clearly a top priority for them. Before we took off, the crew meticulously went through all the safety precautions, ensuring we understood every aspect of the ride. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident, which put me at ease as we prepared for takeoff. Our pilot, Mike Carvale, was nothing short of fantastic. He skillfully navigated us through the breathtaking landscapes of Sedona, allowing us to soak in the stunning views of the red rocks bathed in the warm glow of the sunrise.The entire experience was surreal, floating above the majestic scenery while the sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. It was a peaceful and exhilarating moment that I will cherish forever.
I highly recommend this hot air balloon ride to anyone visiting Sedona.

Red Rock Balloons is the best!
The communication was clear and quick.
The location of the meeting site ( office) was right in Sedona, nearby, and it was easy to find. The staff and pilots were so professional, and were a lot of fun. Our pilot Mark Stewart had many years experience and was a great wealth of local knowledge.
The ground crew are an essential part of getting the balloon safely back on the ground.

Such an amazing and unforgettable experience! Red Rock Balloons exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Our pilot, Mike, was not only highly experienced and knowledgeable but hilarious our entire way through. He made me feel safe and comfortable. The communication prior to the flight, during and after was excellent. If it's on your bucket list, don't hesitate! You won't regret it.

My daughter talked me into doing this, but it turned out to be the most amazing experience. Our pilot was informative and helpful, ensuring we knew everything about the balloon, air currents and the area. The crew handled the setup and packing quickly and professionally. The champagne toast was the perfect ending, and they even had juice and water for those under drinking age. I would gladly do this every time I'm in the area!

An amazing adventure. I had total confidence in the pilot and the crew. I thought it would be scary but they made safety a priority. So it was a pretty mellow experience. The flight was really fun but it was also really interesting to watch them inflate the balloon and to watch the landing crew pack everything up. And the views of the cliffs around Sedona were very beautiful at sunrise.
