I cannot recommend Kishauwau Cabins highly enough! My partner and I loved our 2-nights visit. The cabins have so many thoughtful touches to help guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. Highlights: comfortable bed, huge jacuzzi tub, porch swing, personal fire pit and grill, clean cabin, peaceful property, and golden retrievers who make appearances at the office. The open floor plan of the cabin we stayed in made it feel very spacious. Also the owners are incredibly kind and attentive!

Our girls trip was amazing. The Illini cabin was very spacious and accommodating. All of the staff that we can't into contact with were amazing and helpful each time. There was one issue after normal business hours (after the staff went home) but within minutes of informing them, they were onsite addressing this issue. Before we knew it they were gone, we were not effected by then being there at all. This is NOT a complaint but simply showing even if anything went wrong they were on top of it with resolving the problem. I would definitely go back to these cabins with no hesitation. Oh and when they say no service.... They really mean like no service. I even thought walking outside would work, nope. For some reason I thought this doesn't apply to requesting Uber or ordering food .... It applies to er things. No signal but you can go to the office and use the land line. Enjoy, because we sure did.

My wife and I had such a wonderful time staying at the cabins! We stayed in the Jack's Deluxe cabin with the whirlpool tub and it did not disappoint. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast addition we added was delicious, and the outside view was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a great time relaxing and just getting away for a few days. We stayed in the Pines Cabin which had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, watching movies, the whirlpool tub, and being able to prepare our own food. We would definitely recommend Kishauwau Cabins. They also have games and movies that you can borrow in the office which is nice!

We love Kishauwau Cabins! The gorgeous surroundings are private and wooded, and our cabin was perfect! We loved that we were able to bring our big puppy with us and it was the perfect getaway for us all! This was cozy our second time here and we will definitely be back.

The cabin was quaint and quiet. We were also impressed with how clean the cabin was kept. The location was close to local state parks and downtown Ottawa, which was very nice. We were able to hike Starved Rock then eat and have beers in Ottawa. ||The property is quiet and nestled in a forested area. The website doesn't lie. There are no modern amenities. Which is what we wanted.

My husband and I were looking for a close cabin getaway and we found it here! A beautiful, quiet, serene weekend in the woods. We got the cozy cabin and bed and breakfast packages which enhanced our stay. Our hosts were lovely! Highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

We love the time we spend in the cabins at Kishauwau. Clean, cozy, peaceful in every season. The owners and their family are welcoming and friendly. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal: simple breakfast, quick bite at lunch, or a sit-down dinner with a roaring fire in the background. We’ll be back for another perfect getaway.
