We booked Adventure Holiday Tours for a three day tour of Agra, Jaipur and New Delhi. We had an amazing three days. Our driver Sanjay was AMAZING, very accommodating and went the extra mile every day to ensure we had the best experience, tailoring the trip to us every day. The tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had on vacation.

My girlfriend and I had the most incredible time in India when we went for a month in January. We were with Tarun for approximately 2 ½ weeks and although we visited so many places during that time it seemed to pass so quickly! Those few weeks were easily my favourite as we visited the mountains of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh going as far north as the sleepy hill station of Munsyari with all its majestic views. Our journey took us along narrow gravel roads perched high up on the side of gigantic mountains with no safety barriers, to swimming in the Ganga, getting Ayurveda massages and doing yoga in early morning Rishikesh. It was a truly thrilling experience and although we didn't plan anything in advance it all flowed incredibly smoothly. Of course there were hiccups along the way but it’s India and it’s all part of the experience!

Throughout the trip Tarun looked after us so well and was super accommodating to any of our needs. A big highlight for me was staying with his cousins in their village for a few nights. That was easily the best part as it was super relaxing playing cricket with his little cousins, playing with Roorkee (their dog) and walking through their sugar cane fields… of course we couldn't resist eating it along the way! Not to mention their home cooked meals were easily the best in India.

Unfortunately, we couldn't be with Tarun for the rest of our trip through Rajasthan but he organised for us to have the best driver, Sanjay and we booked everything in advance – completely opposite to the first half. However, Rajasthan is much more touristy so it was necessary and all the places he recommended were great. Just like the first half everything ran smoothly and Sanjay was an amazing host/driver – would highly recommend him to anyone as his English and jokes are fantastic. A highlight of Rajasthan was going on a camel safari in Jaisalmer and sleeping out in the dunes under the stars. Of course Tarun booked this for us and we’re so grateful!

To top it all off, we were back in Delhi for one day before our 4am flight and instead of booking a hotel, Tarun and his father offered up their house for us to stay in. It was an amazing gesture of hospitality which we’ll never forget.

All up, Tarun and Adventure Holiday Tours are amazing to travel with. All the drivers listen to your needs and try their best to keep everything running smoothly whilst showing as much of India as they can. We were incredibly lucky to travel with Tarun in particular as he is the loveliest, most down-to-earth guy and can take you to loads of niche places where other tour guides wouldn't bother going. We wouldn't have had such a great time in the north if we were without his company.

Hired a driver with this company through Tarun the manager.....great service the weeks leading up to our trip. Prompt replies to emails and solutions to any problems.Spent 16 days in Rajasthan in the company of our wonderful driver Bhupendra. Within minutes of meeting him we knew we were in safe hands. Excellent driving skills, never losing his cool with all the other maniacs on the roads. Gave us great advice re restaurants and brought us to lots of interesting places...very knowledgeable. A pleasure to have as a travelling companion. Overall an excellent experience.....would highly recommend.

Highly Recommended!

The service is impeccable! Hiring a private car and driver from Adventure Holiday Tours (AHT) was the best decision we made for traveling to India! We had a great Golden Triangle adventure from 2nd to 7th February 2019.

We booked the tour car service a month earlier based on the reviews and everything went smoothly as planned. Tarun, co-owner of AHT was very responsive & helpful to match the tour package with our travelling plan.

Our driver, Gian Chand was very attentive and helpful. He make sure the car is clean all the time, and one thing we appreciate most was his punctuality.

With Gian's services, we managed to experience Delhi, Jaipur and Agra to the most. His professionalism, kind and extremely helpful in making our 6 days stay in India the most delightful experience. We were supplied with free guides in the cities we visited and taken to places we never would have been able to find on our own. Gian listened to our requests and set up our trip to include the activities we wanted, like a rickshaw ride in Old Delhi, last minute shopping for affordable & interesting stuff from good markets, etc.

Thank you to Gian and Tarun for the most amazing trip of my life.

We spend 10 amazing days in Rajasthan and Tarun helped a lot to make it work smothly!
Due to our schedule, in the first 3 days we had 3 different drivers (in Delhi and Khajuraho) and they were all very good.
For the rest of the journey we had one of company's best driver Prem. We were very happy with him!
All drivers were professional, helpful, flexible, ponctual, safe drivers and polite. Tips should represent 10%+ of the cost if you are happy with your driver. Cars were in good state and clean.
Tarun organized an independent guide in every city which we were globally very satisfied with (especially with guides in Khajuraho, Ali in Agra and Uma in Udaipur). They usually take you in the shops for tourists, but it seems like a part of the business which you can hardly avoid. That was not a harm for us.
Tarun is quick in responding emails and what'sApps. He speaks very good English and is clear in his messages (inlike a half dozen driving companies i consulted).
I would definitely recommand his company!

My family and I recently returned from a trip throughout Northern India with Tarun and Adventure Holiday Tours. If you want to experience India vice simply seeing it then Tarun is the one to contact! He arranged an amazing driver, named Prim, for the first part of the our trip. Prim was very knowledgeable about the routes and expertly operated the van throughout the crazy streets of India. We experienced Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, and Rishikesh, in each city we were met by a great tour guide who showed us each site without pressure. I emailed Tarun about 80 times prior to our journey, sometimes with requested changes or simply questions, his responses were rapid and thorough.

However, the best part about the journey was during our final three days when Tarun came with us and showed us the small village his family is from. We met his family and learned how to play Cricket with his cousins, my kids greatly enjoyed this experience and describe it as one of the best parts of the trip!

India was an amazing place, full of color, great people and amazing experiences. It wouldn't have been possible without Tarun and Prim, their interaction during our experience left such a positive memory that they have both become friends.
