SCUBA Taxi. No thrills rode to dive spots. Dive location overview was basically skipped, which was tough for new divers. No water provided other than a few plastic bottles, although snacks were nicely provided. Captain friendly, but would have preferred better overview of dive sites and simple reminders for new divers to hit bottom, amd also importance of getting ready when the 10 warning was given and what that means.

They cancelled 17.5 hours before departure. I had already checked into a hotel! I get that they probably didn't have enough people signed up. But, 17.5 hours isn't enough notice. At some point, you have to honor your agreement, win or lose. They require 7 days for you to cancel. They cancelled the previous week also, that time a couple days in advance. All around kinda shady.

We've been diving with Double Action Dive Charters on several dates and locations, in both lake Huron and Michigan. The crew has always been super professional and friendly. It's always a treat to dive the great lakes wrecks, where some are over 150 years old. Big shout out to Richard and Cody for their expertise!

First of all, I had 4 great dives with 2 different captains. On my first dive I lost my GoPro. However, Captain Bryan said he would keep an eye out for it. Incredibly, the next weekend they found it and shipped it back to me. Can't believe businesses like this still exist! I honestly can't recommend them highly enough!

BLUF: If you are looking to dive the wrecks around Chicago, these are the folks.

DETAILS: I brought a group of 6 divers up from Tennessee for a weekend of diving and Double Action made it a great experience.

Capt. Keith, Dive Master Matt and the rest of the crew went out of their way to make sure that everybody had a good time. Their enthusiasm was infectious. They were professional, friendly and always had an emphasis on safety.

The Sea Quest 2 is a sturdy work boat that is very diver friendly with plenty of bench and tank space, a clear deck area, and sturdy ladders when you exit. There is a nice area in the cabin with booths and tables, an upper area to enjoy the sun and air as you're heading out and back. The cold grapes, strawberry's and water in the cooler were much appreciated.

Keith did a great brief on each dive site before he opened the pool, the history, what to watch for, what to avoid. It's so much better diving a new site when you've got some idea how to get the most of the time available before you must return to the surface.

I"m a dive professional, and I tend to look at the details, and they were doing it all right. I'm looking forward to visiting them again on my own some time in the future.

The crew on the the Seaquest II was outstanding but the tank racks on the boat were terrible. I have been on many dive boats but these tank racks were the worst. The tanks bounced around - a lot. Clearly this boat was not originally a dive boat. This deficiency need to be addressed, immediately. The boat has some other much less significant problems, as a dive boat. But for the tank rack problem I would give 5 stars.

Very profesional always have options backed up by a great dive shop with rental equipment. You cannot go wrong wit these guys.
