This was by far one of the best welcome centers we have stopped at. The restrooms were extremely clean. The facility was designed beautifully. There was a small display for Christmas that was all based on "The Christmas Story". When we stopped, we only expected to be using the restroom then leaving, instead we stayed for quite a while, looking at everything this rest stop had to offer.

My favorite part of this welcome center was the state of Indiana that had been inlaid in the flooring with highways also detailed in flooring material. It was just so impressive.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! Jenny was off duty and heading home on that VERY cold day, but she still stopped and asked if we needed help charging up the electric car ! She made the process so clear and easy to complete. Staff inside including gift shop staff were very helpful and patient. Hoosiers and all tourists visitors are very lucky to have this wonderful place to stop and learn, shop or just relax!

One of our favorite state Welcome Centers! The Christmas Story displays for the movie were incredible!! This being the home of author Jean Shepherd who wrote the book which inspired the movie is from Hammond. Out front is a statue of the boy with his tongue stuck to the flag pole. Very nice laid out center, clean and one of the best gift shops around!

Good place to stop and stretch the legs. On our way back home stopped here and did a bit of shopping at the gift shop while also walking about and seeing the displays.

We came here to see A Christmas Story display....and what a display it was! Family friendly for all ages. I suggest everyone to go. There's also a gift shop with sovereigns replica from the movie. There's over a dozen different Christmas trees from around the world that you can vote for your favorite. Santa is also on location during certain days.

Awesome experience for our family all around!! We just visited for the "Christmas Story" experience and we re-lived our childhood for hours!! We watched it every year, every Christmas day growing up over and over again and we love the fact that we can have these memories at the forefront of our mind every year thanks to this incredible display and staff who dedicate their time and brilliant effort's into this magic!!!

We stopped to pick up some information. The staff was very nice. They had a small gift shop that was fun. It was easy off and back on the highway. We are so glad we stopped here. The bathrooms were very clean.
